While another thread is focused on the game design aspects she talks about, I'm making this one to discuss on the reveals for 1999 she talked about. Primarily, Rebecca confirming that 1999 will the actual place in the alternate history that is Warframe, with the neat note that Canada doesn't exists in it.

Obviously they had to eliminate Canada because the Orokin Empire could not have formed while the Lords were under the influence of maple syrup, and the average moose would have posed too much of a threat to the Sentient fleets, not unlike the dinosaurs did to the mammals.

Pitiful Orokin Empire stands no chance against our Canadian Geese horde, but it would be too cruel releasing them against the empire. We would rather disappear than being that cruel

Blame Canada for the non-existence of Canada.

But if Canadians erased Canada there could have been no Canadians to erase it, so it's very confusing.  I blame Canada for this issue.

Kind of a bummer it will be actual time travel. Since it means that either eternalism is not true (Entrati woman talking out of her ass) or it means eternalism is true and the time travel will be pointless. Because everything will still happen all the same, because we went back in time from an eternalistic frame of observation that is the reality we percieve. So it will be that percieved reality we try to change, but since we dont change the frame of observation, reality as we percieve it will turn out the same. Since what we are planning to change has already happened, is happening or will happen, while we have already observed the outcome of it up to the point of us going back in time.

Also... no Canada in the WF universe... does that mean no Unleash the Archers in the WF universe? Or will it mean there is an Unleash the Archers in the WF universe, but since they are now american they will for the most part produce S#&$ty metal (Slayer, Nile, Pantera and Iced Earth not included).
