Just started building it and saw that 50% status chance. + pistol pestilence. Maybe sure shot and stunning speed could be worth it for 92.5% proc chance? With multishot? :D

it's good there's a proc weapon, but it's innate corrosive damage means you cant have procs for magnetic, gas, radiation or viral damage, because it's impossible to create those damage types when the innate damage is corrosive(electric+toxic).

 

edit: i stand corrected, i dont play with double secondary elements alot.

 

anyway, this sidearm will probably become to best weapon to knockdown enemies with 90% proc rate and blast proc.

Well the acrid was nerfed so hard that it definitely can out damage it.

 

 

As for damage type I'm a little annoyed its yet another corrosive/toxic pistol and while it does limit the use I think that helps to keeping it from being over powered.

You can get any element + corrosive on this, thats why its so powerful. I fear that it will be as op as i fear but i will reserve that till i get it and test it for some time.

Acrid: 20 toxin, Rof of 6.7, Reload of 1.2 making it DPS: 87

Tysis: 35 corrosive, Rof of 2.5, Reload of 1.2 making it DPS: 73

 

This seems a alternate Stug than a Acris replacer.

Acrid procs toxin almost 100% of the time from what i've played.

I don't know about in 1.0, but 'make things die' would be my guess. Which from even that quick glance, it does better than the Tysis. (Though the Acrid could use a modest buff to get it more inline for what its cost is)

yawn. i don't think we even really need to do extensive testing to see Tysis can delete an enemies' Health in a matter of two, or three shots - with another player to deal with the remaining 1% on every enemy i guess.

forget even bothering with a lot of Elementals, Viral alone will do the job of wiping any enemy you find you have trouble with.

 

this coupled with the fact that this thing is quite easy to construct - and seemingly no Mastery Requirement - heh. this is even worse than Soma on day one.

I like the high proc chance, Steve said that he started at 10% and then kept going higher because he saw that 10% was almost next to useless.

 

hopefully this means that a widespread boost in proc chances will be had for weapons across the board.
