CelticMoss
Or they're mute? or somehow not learned how to talk? Cause it's strange how everyone is working with lodus never say a single word. Does anything support that they even know how to talk? XD
PsychedelicSnake
It's up in the air and at this point differs from person to person. Personally, I think they do, but for gameplay purposes they are kept mute.

CelticMoss
Warframe doesn't have a person inside... Assuming.. The one's using the frames are human or what we know and humans know how to talk so. Edited June 16, 2014 by SarahApple
Toaman1994
We're your typical avatar characters in video games; We neither have faces nor voices that you can "see" in games. Since we each represent the real person behind the frame (I.E. You), we don't need to talk by ourselves; you can talk for us. Bonus: I just imagine that every Warframe user is another version of Link from LoZ. The only sound I've ever heard from one of them was Valkyr's "HYAAAAH!". CelticMoss
Its a Hive-Mind..... Hm that might be right the warframes are mostly made up of living parts with metals on it so maybe the frames can talk to eachother?
RespectTheInternet
Hm that might be right the warframes are mostly made up of living parts with metals on it so maybe the frames can talk to eachother? They do. It's called the Region chat. Warframes are strange creatures.
avinity8
Another part of lore DE needs to work on. Esp with the trailers, Tenno never talk.
PsychedelicSnake
Another part of lore DE needs to work on. Esp with the trailers, Tenno never talk. Not really. They're mute on purpose, like I said above. The Tenno/Warframes are the player's avatar. They are mute and faceless because the Devs want us to project ourselves (or at the very least our personality if the genders are different) into these Tenno/Warframes. If they added voices or faces, this would directly contradict the image we made of our Tenno/Warframes, and ruin the immersion that these Tenno/Warframes are us. (PSN)JoeyTwoShoes
I pretty sure that they can, but like most FPS and MMO playable characters, choose not to during gameplay. Edited June 16, 2014 by JoeyTwoShoes
DirkDeadeye
If Hayden Tenno could speak. They call could. Cause lore.
MechNexus
Two scenarios: 1. They can. They just don't. (See: Stalker's codex) 2. Their voice is your voice.
DirkDeadeye
The grandaddy of warframe..the reason why I just bought dark sector, and found out it's not ..this. Aw well, still gonna play it.
ZephyrPhantom
Considering some of the rescue targets are suitless Tenno and they talk, I'd say yes but we prefer to use region chat stay mute. Edited June 16, 2014 by ZephyrPhantom

Rettycombine
Well valkyr does seem to scream a lot with her powers, and considering she has been tortured she has a pretty normal sounding voice, so i do think the Tenno can speak if they need to. No, that's your interpretation/assumption of things. Mines is that it's due to lack of DE drive to develop just basic lore. Til DE touch more on this, it's up in the air.
