The Grineer base began to light up, alarms ringing though the forest and Grineer loudspeakers blaring orders as Kera began to mobilize all available forces to sweep the forest for the Tenno, Every Lancer, Gunner, Scorch and Bombard to sweep the forest and find the Tenno. Squads of them going into the forest as they crush and trample their way into the forest floor.

 

The Grineer were on the hunt.

 

Jawol may have it's chance.

Jawol may have it's chance. 

Jawols jaw split in a slight grin exactly as he had predicted the grineer were spilling out of the base like an ant hill going to war. Jawol lept from the branch performing a frontflip before diving straight towards the ground, a few hundred feet of drop which it halted with a tailwind sending it forward into a roll just above the ground. As Jawol's back touched down he popped out of the roll and began his sprint towards the bases wall. Diving into the brush as a grineer squad blip showed up on his radar, the leaves rustling as he waited for them to pass.

Jawol may find itself in for a long wait as the Grineer talk about what may have caused the eruption for red alert in the base.

 

"So what do you think it is? Kubrows?"

 

"Nah, Kubrows don't make a wound like what Ulfe's got.

 

"What is it then?"

 

"It's the Tenno, it always is"

 

"You're kidding, We've hadn't had a Tenno strike in months!"

 

"Nobody in the Galaxy can hit a target with that level of precision!"

 

"Dammit, No wonder Kera looked &!$$ed!"

Ismiri wandered the forests, looking at how overgrown Earth had become.

 

"Earth has oddly peculiar beauty." Ismiri thought. "I don't remember much of Old-Earth, but I think that it looks better than this."

 

She continued through the towering twisted trees and marshlands to find the distress beacon that Anastasia had sent. It wouldn't be too far from her location, given her drop-point and how far she has traveled.

 

It has been a while since the Banshee was on the field. It was a good shore-leave while it lasted, as she recollected. Meeting new people, including the one I'm looking for right now...

 

By the time she stopped reminiscing, she found the origination of the beacon.

 

"Hello? Anyone there?" Ismiri called out.

"Looks like my questions can wait, seems we've been caught trespassing. I haven't had a good fight in ages!" Caldor said as he smashed his fists together, he really was ready to meet these new foes, and to destroy them.

Stork jumped back six feet or so as the boulder exploded into shards, then gathered her composure as she stepped back over to Caldor, Anastasia, and Ismiri. "I think he'll be fine, Anastasia," she holstered her Akstilettos, drawing her Latron instead. "As long as he has some backup."

Jawol may find itself in for a long wait as the Grineer talk about what may have caused the eruption for red alert in the base.

 

"So what do you think it is? Kubrows?"

Jawol cocked his head as he listened to the grineer, 'Kera... tagging possible unit of interest, Tenno working towards the base possibly not a rescue mission for fallen Tenno. Altering objectives to compensate. Kubrow sound files active'

Jawol's stealth engaged as it ducked out of the brush as it emitted the sound of a fleeing Kubrow, moving first away from the grineer group and then turning to head towards the base again, believing the Tenno presence would force his plans to be expedited.

Jawol may have it's chance.

 

Meanwhile the Forest parties were still going deeper into the forests, already several shots had been fired at stray kubrows and fires had already been started in Kubrow dens. 

 

The trampling of boots were getting closer to the Tenno...

Jawol deactivated his Kubrow sound module and made a quick dash into the branches again once he was sure he was out of sight his stealth unit shut off as he continued along the twisting limbs towards the camp. Upon reaching a branch close to the wall he shot off of the branch using his powerful legs activating it's stealth unit again as it sailed over the wall.

 

'Tracking module active subject Tal'rek Galran' Jawol's radar narrowed it's search looking for one specific unit tag, following it he dove through one of the Grineer doors into the building and moving behind a set of crates 'stealth unit deactivated scanning for best possible route to target.' A small group of grineer could be heard down the hall from Jawol.

"As you wish." Caldor responded as he activated his Iron Skin. "Once I engage the enemy I will try and divide their forces, make it easier to dispatch them." Caldor leaped up into a nearby tree.

While Rhinos are the heaviest and least nimble of the Tenno they are still Tenno all the same, capable of traversing the environment just as easily as their brothers and sisters. Caldor now had a good vantage point and position to ambush the Grineer from.

The 4th soldier's worries came true as Kera De Thayos, Recognisable in her Black, Red and White armour stopped the Patrol and shouted "What's going on here?! Are you trying to slack off duty with your talk?!"

 

"No ma'am we were just..." Replied Number One

 

"Enough! I want you to get the turrets prepared and prepare an escort team for Councillor Galran's arrival! Do it or I'll shoot you with my first Buzlok!"

 

"YES MA'AM!" all 4 shout and rush out to do their duties. Kera leaving in a grumbling state to the Command Centre

 

Meanwhile in the forest. Stork may spot Ten Grineer soldiers, 4 Lancers. 3 Scorches and 3 bombards,

Jawol peeked out from the box spotting a ventilation scoop just past and above where the group had been after he was certain that the Kera woman was gone. He dashed out from his spot checking the corners before moving to the end of the hall using the tendrils of his tail to remove the grate he would hop up into it before replacing the grate and continuing his prowl now through the cramped vents.

Making note of his performance thus far during his travels towards the dot on his radar which still seemed rather far off, his claws clicking in the vents moving ever closer towards the central area of the base.

Ismiri looked and listened as the events unfolded within her eyes.

"Looks like I will be following Stork." Ismiri thought to herself.

The Banshee knew the sound of trouble. No time to ask questions, or to respond, at least for now. The Grineer are converging on their location, so she took off. Judging that their sounds were close by, she casted out a sonar wave, seeing if she can spot the opposition. She wasn't too far off, mostly in a slight clearance to their right.

Judging that their sounds were close by, she casted out a sonar wave, seeing if she can spot the opposition. She wasn't too far off, mostly in a slight clearance to their right.

Seeing the sonar wave's effects on nearby trees using her peripheral vision and her own body, Anastasia understood what Ismiri was trying to do.

"See anything ahead?" She asked through text over the secure transmission channel so as not to interrupt Ismiri's hearing.
