democrator Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 I feel ODD became a zone where all you do is grind XP. So all people want is frames who spam a single power and kill enemies. No one goes there for rewards anymore. If DE can show Orokin Derelict some love, this can be rectified. 1. Increase the level of infested to be same or more than pluto (sechura) 2. Give better rewards, so everyone plays and not just for XP Its been a long time since I ran ODS/ODC (just because the rewards aren't worth it) The only missions that are run frequently are ODD (for XP) and ODE (for Vault Runs). The one Vauban complained I wasn't using it- while he, and the others, were using their abilities. He used that excuse after he complained about me meleeing. What you have experienced is the typical PUG setup. And to be honest I sorta agree with the guy who left. Mind you, I'm not saying that you were doing it wrong or that you couldn't live up to the challenge, but: - That was a pretty standard setup, you knew what they were aiming for. - You were a stranger, they didn't know what you were capable of, they didn't had to trust you on the spot. - They told you to come up, from your words they did it politely. - You then proceeded to act like the ODDball. (Sorry, could resist.) To be fair, especially since they didn't knew you, you went against all what they wanted to do. The safe, no fun, long run for the XP. You were a 'bad' Trinity because you wanted to 'brag' your skills to them and not listen to their advice. I personally don't know what's the standard etiquette in PUG, I personally stick to whatever the Host requires of me, I point out if something is dangerous or troublesome (Like the Wave 30 Bug.) but otherwise I just stick to what they tell me to do. I also use to ask beforehand how they wants to handle things. I think it only polite because they're offering you the chance to join them. You want the challenge? Sure, host your own, pick your friends and do it... But don't complain if in PUG people leaves\kick you if you don't follow directions... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What I think is going to happen is that this may snowball out of control, like Viver, and then DE will either panic like last time or they will adjust the map's collision layers so that you can't get on the pillars anymore.
