Luckily, they have wi-fi in the lounges so I'll be able to watch something. And I'm in the mood for some anime, so anyone got any recommendations? Note: I adore mecha, so anything mecha is perfect. Suisei no Garantia is also wonderful. Also mecha/scifi. Both are definitely in my 'best anime of all time' list as they are currently. Don't read up on em more than that. Do you have any 'don't watch' critereon? For example I often steer people away from Psycho Pass due to sexual assault/rape. I'll second Psycho Pass, especially if you liked Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, as a sort of gritty near-future progressive crime drama. Also a little gory... Another amazing series that just wrapped up: Shingeki no Bahamut (Rage of Bahamut is probably the English name?). Absolutely amazing everything. I don't just watch mecha, I'm into comedy, school, slice of life. I'm quite open... But why the F*** is there sports animes...what could we possibly benefit from a school swimming team anime. There is obviously a deep plot and the like, but the one overarching combat premise is essentially crazy japanese anime mecha versus more down to earth military mecha.
