So i ran an excavation mission on earth, and i noticed one of the players in it was a Nyx prime, who managed to run around with absorb turned on and seemed to never run out of energy, even if i blasted him with my Synoid wich some nyx have said to absorb all their energy real quick, he just seemed to take the beam non stop, even weirder still is that even inside his bubble i took dmg from somewhere, pretty sure it came from him actually.

 

I'm almost sure it was either a hacker or an exploiter, but i'm not entirely sure.

They shouldn't be able to run around with absorb on, though could have been a bug not necessarily an exploit or hack.

They were probably running max efficiency. It reduces the energy usage by 75%, making pretty much anything eternally spammable.

doesn't change the fact that you can't run around with absorb

There's a glitch if some1 gets knocked down while absorbing , they're able to walk around. I'd also assume he built for efficiency .

A nyx running around while her absorb was active? Most likely just a graphical error of some kind.

I'm pretty sure it was just a visual bug, usually caused by lag. If the regular effects of the Absorb weren't happening, then they weren't really in Absorb.

it's a visual bug. he's not actually using Absorb, it only looks like it.

Sounds like a visual glitch due to lag. Absorb acts pretty specifically when it comes to absorbing all incoming damage and locking you in place. You probably saw it because the animation hadn't updated on your end.

This was a real bug back in the day. I don't think it exists anymore, although maybe. Could also be lag, or just the anim playing while the skill is off.

it's a player trick - u slide while casting - u get to keep your momentum   it was first done back in 7 by ember players so as  to not die during  there 2 second casting  of their ult. 

 

or just lag

Hah! They still haven't fixed this old &#! hell bug.

 

Yes it is a bug, an old one at that. Supposedly "fixed" several updates ago. More of an exploit than a cheat.

I've seen tons of absorbing nyxes floating around, "jumping" and exploding whenever they get close to enemies right after they do a comeplete stop, mind you I was having the most glorious lag ever when that was happening.
