GunDownGrace Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 hmmm...we are used to the lotus as fairly consistent and what have you....what if in the past,like orokin past,she was different? i got a little further in the chroma quest today,and hearing the lotus`s voice waver like that was worth an eyebrow raise (also there are rumors flying around that the lotus actually uses weapons,as evidenced by today`s dex weps...what use would a non combat guide type character have for weapons?im saying that in the past she was a soldier of some sort,and then settled down abit) also...it reminds me of that movie fix where the greatest and most terrifying of the soldiers settles down to a nice peaceful role only to be dragged into war again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Event: Revelation (debut for Lotus-Escort) So Lotus travels to a secret base on Ceres to destroy the remains of Lech Kril once and for all. But it all turns out differently... Instead of having to actually fight we witness a cheesy dialogue between Lotus and Kril, which reveals that Kril didn't kill Lotus' father, but hooked Lotus' mother up instead - tears of joy for the most disgusting family-reunion in gaming history. Event-reward: Lotus' helmet for female Warframes and Lech Krils helmet for male Warframes.... also the heart-sigil and tear-emblem. Morec0 Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 I'm thinking she, Teshin, and Stalker were all a part of the Low Guardian order - it was forgotten and withered as humanity "forgot the conclave" (and it was likely replaced by newer, more advanced technology) and ultimately replaced by and taught the Old Ways to the Tenno . It seems she either have forgotten much herself, or is not sharing with the Tenno. of course, if she DO rember, I foresee some turmoil now that Teshin have started acting as Tenno Master all over again. Revenant102 Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 I've resolved in my mind that Lotus is our operational handler and Teshin was a member of the Tenno training cadre, one of the Low Guardians that was chosen to train the Tenno in traditional blade/gun combat. He didn't go into cryosleep after we took down the Orokin because he was searching for a reason why his pupils would wipe out their masters. Eventually he came to his current belief that the Conclave can be a valuable meditative tool and has returned to train the Tenno that would listen to him. Lotus likely didn't go into cryo with us either, since someone would have had to wake her. If she did, it was probably the Corpus, and when she turned on them she earned their ire. Last of the known survivors would be Stalker, who is stated to have stalked the wastes we left in our wake, brooding and hating us more and more. So here we have our handler the Lotus, a woman dedicated to keeping us alive. Teshin, our drill sergeant returned to set right what he thinks went wrong. And then there's Stalker, a being of rage driven to our destruction. Three different reactions from individuals present during the Old War. As for Lotus in combat, I'd actually love to see her in a fight, though I'm not so sure if it would happen. Perhaps she keeps weapons to protect her operations base along with her cadre of cephalons. Who collects the Cryopod after you are tired doing 60 waves of T4D ? Not you eh. Don't worry, the Lotus has her own cadre of highly trained Tenno too. Perfectly loyal to her.
