What Do You Believe The Syndicate Melee Weapons Will Be

Anyone else thinking that Suda's weapon will be a Synoid version of some sort of light saber powered by a Gammacor at the hilt?

Light saber eh? This close enough? Minus the gammacor since I think that motif is over used :P

Although if we're thinking up a new celphalon style weapon, its flavor text describes the weapon as a former scientific tool, so by design it has to serve some sort of research purpose before being made into a weapon.

The Atterax is used by the Grineer to execute insubordinate soldiers...It goes against everything they stand for to suggest using it.

In a guerrilla warfare, it is very common for the Guerrilla soldiers to posses the weapons of their enemies.

It is a lot more unrealistic to say: "we stole their weapons, but they used to kill us with those weapons, so lets get rid of them".

That's the case with the Vaykor Marelok, sure, but the Atterax isn't even just a weapon--it is a torture device, a tool for execution. You have to go out of your way to grab the thing and no amount of "justice" warrants using something literally ripped the flesh from your fellows for sport and sadistic wrath.

They are at war, there are no rules in war. "Justice" doesn't mean that they are above torture. Guerrilla's are more likely to use everything they can to get the advantage.

Every melee is a torture device. They can all leave you hanging with guts.

Besides, if they're going to focus on "clean" deaths, then Hek isn't exactly the way to go.

But something with more pinpoint accurasy. Like Vulkar or something.

Anyway, this is war, there is no place for mr. nice-guy. Especially not in a game such as Warframe, where even the protagonists are using an Atterax or anything they can to get results.

Telos Galatine would be more fitting than the Boltace, since the Arbiter logo is a double-edged sword. Just because they happen to have a Boltor and Akbolto doesn't really set precedent for filling out the whole set; Steel Meridian didn't get a Grinlok for example, and the Tigris is normally in a set with the Akjagara. You can treat it as coincidence in this case.
