Basilisk1991 Posted November 28, 2015 Share Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) I've seen this pop up before and having compared the picture from the teaser site to screenshots I could find of Umbra Excalibur, the Stalker has the same stripe down the middle of his chest that Umbra does (It's just a different color). That having been said assuming a connection based on the fact that they share the same model for the body is silly considering that the Stalker has always shared 95% of his model with *GASP* Vanilla Excalibur! Excalibur and Stalker share the same exact frame aside from the helmet, and Excalibur Umbra is just an Excalibur frame with some bits added; the decals are more or less identical across all 4 frame variants (Excal, Excal Prime, Excal Umbra, Stalker). If you compare those marked points to the regular Excalibur, and the current Stalker, you'll see they're all different. EDIT: Not only that, but the new Stalker also seems to be lacking something the old Stalker has. See those red markings on top of regular Excal's shoulders? Current Stalker has those too, but new Stalker doesn't. That is to say, New Stalker uses Excalibur Umbra's textures, and since we don't see enough of his body on the hype site, he may even use Umbra's entire body, gold bits and all.
