Hixlysss Posted December 6, 2015 Share Posted December 6, 2015 One of the reason's that why the Operator of the warframes is a child is to make people feel awkward about all the warframe smut out there? Think about it, realizing that the Operator of the warframe is some kid really puts all the warframe smut out there into a new light of sorts.But that kinda brings up another point, are they kids just because of their appearance? I mean these 'kids' have been put through hell, THey have been put through a war. And we still don't know how long the war was, and from that we don't know if these kids have stopped aging, or just slowed it. So the question now is...are the Operator's still kids? "She's just a weirdo with baby issues" "I don't like having Sentient-mommy Lotus constantly monitoring me". So they tried to make them feel more natural by making us kids and thus more obviously linked to motherly themes. Which I think is just a dumb thing to do and I blame this more on the fault of the community. I mean, when does a mother EVER stop loving you and EVER stop treating you like you're still they're child? I'll buy them still ACTING like kids, the cryosleep or whatever stasis they were in and all, but to react to everything with the childlike whimsy they do? It doesn't add up. I'm 24 and I say stuff like that all that time, so...kinda not helping. And sure there were 'hints' that they were kids, but they didn't look it. They could have been kids and they just...grew up and were changed, think the Spartan's from halo or some such. I like my kawaii anime nekomimi's as much as the next otaku, but the zeal some people had for that game's hot button issue regarding a certain player character race reached levels of disturbing I'd rather not have experienced first hand. But, just remind yourself that there's alien smut out there. You know... the one's that start off as face-huggers... yeah...
