Which One Should I Keep Vitalty Or Redirection?

I have a problem, im out space for mods so i want to take out some mods that i dont use and i wanna know which one is more importan.

btw i use Excalibur

You wanna keep Vitality, shields always regenerate, hp doesn't.

Vitality + Steel Fiber and / or Armored Agility + Rage is the way to go on Excal IMO,

you can easily refill Health with (woo ranged thanks to Exalted Blade) Life Strike.

I always keep vitality even on Warframes with lots of shield. The shields regen, Your health doesn't (Unless your using rejuvenation).

The only time I ever use Redirection anymore is those very rare hijack missions. If you want more shields, just take a few shield restores.

Excalibur's got good base health and armor, so I'd say Vitality would be better.

keep vitality...its much better....on high lvl mobs just blitz u shield anyway...if u have rage would be really nice to help u bit with energy..

If you want to survive longer keep both on. All you gotta do to put whatever other mod you want on Excalibur. Forma him twice by putting the polarity for Vitality and Redirection on. You can also Forma him a third time to put Steel Fiber or Armored Agility. That's what my roommate does to his Excalibur and he can survive for really long time.

Personally, I use Excalibur with Redirection and Vigor as my playstyle doesn't involve Rage or Life Strike. I wanna be able to take he beat down on my shields and use my slightly increased health as a last resort to get away. But I mean that's my playstyle. And really, that's all it comes down to.

Shields are literally useless against slash and toxin procs, and get in the way of rage/lifestrike cycling.  Definitely keep vitality.  If you add a second survivability mod back in later, you might want to think about redirection vs vigor vs steel fiber, but in my opinion at least, Vitality is always the first one, unless you're using the quick thinking/primed flow combo, with a reliable method of maintaining your energy high (i.e. there's a trinity handy).

Hi Pur3!  Personally, me too.  But I've seen some people go pretty deep in T4S with very survivability focused builds.

Personally, I use neither and prefer qt+flow, but to each their own.

I slot in vitality, because if you have a sentinel or a raksa kubrow, they will help take care of your shields. I also run my melee weapons with life strike to help out survivability. With Excal, getting off that life strike is easier because of Radial Blind/Exalted Blade.
