I"m curious if I were to put on a Flame Repellent and Insulation would it decreased the amount of damage bombards do since blast is both Ice and Heat would it decrease the amount of damage they do to me or no effect?

Or, if you run with less Bombards on the map, you get instant damage reduction :D

Now that I think about it, that would be a cool thing for those mods, if they ever get tweaked. :)

My gosh...why did DE not include this...it makes perfect sense for otherwise rarely used mods!!!

they used to work way back then  all those defensive mods but they got the axe now they do so little reduction you still get one shot and downed so stick with melee blocking it does a better job than all the defensive mods combined.

i know that differents element augment buff (ember, frost, saryn, volt) can combine (i was making viral damage with RJ with saryn and frost buffing me). They should allow that for these resistance mods also

except saryn's buff gives viral base....but what you are saying is correct ally provided buffs will fuse if able. anyways on topic, i really wish they worked like that...but then again theres a mod already that gives straight radiation resist and well thats a fusion element. i would like to see the elemental bullet jump mods be able to fuse elements though and thats kinda on the same line of thought. even if they dont increase bullet jump effectiveness beyond the first mod when stacked.

Diamond skin use to reduce Laser damage, it makes sense because diamond can reflect light and its perfect for corpus runs

now its radiation damage resistance.

To be fair, the fire repellent is very good against grineer scorches, since they do only fire damage. So does the ice and radiation resistance against the void lasers (some do cold damage and some do radiation damage, I don't remember where is which, between void, derelict and moon).

Detron Crewmen deal only radiation damage, so there you have another use.
