Whatever happened to the whole Simaris thing with the scanning of targets for lore? Did DE end it or something or have people givin up?

Yeah, that just seems to have been a failed experiment. People barely participated in it on PS4.

I think the only way to initiate it is by talking to Simaris

People got the scans too damn fast. And decided to give us a time-out.

It was replaced by the daily synthesis that you can do.

I believe they need to come up with more lore before we get another round.

They DO have to write the lore we get from it, so it's possible they just don't know what to write for the time being. Or they just gave up on it, that's a possibility too.

They took a break from writing synthesis lore to work on Second Dream. The daily scan thing is s stopgap so we can keep getting rep with him, but I expect it to stay even after they write more lore.
