I really like the ones when you get downed/take serious damage like, "Internals damaged, we need to watch it" or "The Transference makes this hurt". Some lines should be considered tutorial/teaching transmissions and get disabled when you turn off 'Enable Tutorial Transmissions' in the options. For example: Note: This is not a full list. Spoiler - Need to keep a lookout for supplies. - If we can avoid alerting them, this may be easier. - We need to watch for aquatic targets. - Ancients are powerful, age and feeding has made them strong. - What a mess, let's clean this up. - Some explode when killed, will need to strike and move. - Be on guard for the Ancients. - They'll have plenty of Robotics. Corpus never fight for themselves. - Corpus have tech weapons, we'll need to be careful. - Watch for security systems. - So... the Corpus are just a cult, worshiping money. - Ballistics and archaic weapons, crude and dangerous, just like the Grineer. - The Grineer used to be builders, now all they make is war. - The Grineer deteriorate over time... is that what makes them violent? - The Grineer prey on the weak, but we prey on the Grineer. They are good for new/inexperienced Tenno or those that don't know much of the lore. For the experienced/veteran Tenno and those familiar with the lore, they can be very redundant. Yeah, there's no way even the most ill informed staff at DE couldn't have thought: maybe having these irritating/annoying tweens; saying irritating/annoying stuff might not be the greatest idea, ever? I agree that they should act and feel more like adults, since they've been fighting in wars for so long. And hearing my Operator saying "We fought with honor" after I backstab and one-shot dozens of Grineer who can't even defend theirselves because I'm bloody invisible just breaks immersion.
