NekroArts
Think of a theme (wild west, neon, demonic, etc.) or use color scheme (complementary, analogous, subtle, bright, etc.)

Daziri
Colors that go well along. For me I use Dark Blue and dark cyan. White and Cyan and greys tints. It depends on the frame tho.
(PSN)PillarOfWar
I have all my frames in dark purple with a little bit of dark green. Looks good on all of them so far and my load outs are uniform. Croma looks good in orange and black and white to look like a clown fish.
matto
I think I'll change my Black/Dark Red/Gold theme to a Lotus theme soon. Now that we have a full Dex set.
(PSN)whiskey_14
I've been using oranges lately, I never really liked orange but think it's because orange has never really liked me, so I thought I would meet it half way and go darker orange, trying to match earth tones... SenorClipClop
Selecting a new color scheme, there a few things I like to do for inspiration: Make slight variations to the frame's original colors (my Chroma is a slightly sandier color than Chroma is normally) Pick a main color at random, then find complimentary ones to suit it Sometimes I model a frame's coloration off of a weapon's default scheme (like making Chroma turquoise to match the Ack & Brunt) Take inspiration from other elements in the game (can you color Valkyr to imitate the feral Kavats?) Make a scheme based on your favorite Syndicate Try coloring a frame with the defaults of a different frame (using the Tenno color palette, left to right in each row is the color scheme for a number of older Warframes) These are just some ideas that will hopefully help with inspiration. Happy FashionFraming :)

Another thing is some color schemes dont exactly look finished without armor so just keep that in mind as well.
