Differences

So, I'm about to get my first prime frame. I was wondering what were the most MAJOR differences between the primes and their standard counterparts.(other than looks)

Prime frames usually come with a boost to their EHP stats (more health, Shields or Armour over their regular version, though not by too much), and they also have extra polarities for mods, so that you don't have to Forma them as much and can mod them a little easier. there's also a slight addition to some power animations, for example Frost Prime leaves gold icicles behind after casting ice Wave, Rhino Prime's Iron Skin is gold not silver etc.

those are the differences, other than the obvious visual differences.

also if your in the void a touch a giant orb thing that shoots lasers and spins you get 250 energy aka void interaction

They also get some other stat or passive upgrades depending on the Warframe.

Excalibur Prime has faster shield regen, Rhino Prime runs faster, Loki has more base energy, etc.

Excal prime doesn't have faster shield regen, it was a widely believed rumor from when he came out.

The differences are not prety big.

They have a particular ability when void trap are activated ( energy regen )

Some of them as slightly better stats ( more armor , shield , faster running speed )

The major difference is that they are all shiny thingny ^.^

It depends on the Prime. There's one or two boosted stats. Rhino Prime is faster, and has more armor than normal Rhino, Nova Prime has a higher energy pool and higher shields than normal Nova. It's baseline stuff that can make a huge difference.

Oh and in perfect timing. He has more energy and like 2 or 3 more polarities.
