The OP theory, as well as most other people's theories in this thread and others, were wrong. One happened to be correct despite existing lore pointing away from it. I never stated Teshin was Tenno, nor believed it. My comment was more in line with us having some parts regarding the appearances of Dax soldiers and Teshin didn't match them. It made Teshin being a Dax seem less likely. DE just decided to make the appearance in the lore not reflect on Teshin. I never said "You are wrong," to the person that suggested Teshin was Dax, only pointing out that the Grineer would be most apt at labeling a Dax properly.
