Melee Weapons Range Mentions

Is it possible to add melee weapons range option alongside other options in the modding section for the players to see? Melee has Range mods such as Reach/ Primed Reach but we can't see the range that the weapon has to offer before or after modding with such mods.

It's one of those strange situations where you'd have to go to an external website or source to find the listed base range.

I never really understood why even that much basic factual information was missing from the in game stats - at least have it in the codex? 

There are quite a few systems where the information you'd want is either hidden or plain missing that a player shouldn't have to leave the game to find out. (Or at the very least have it available on the official website/app akin to how Square Enix has it for FFXIV). New players aren't being helped on that account at all.

Not just melee, primary and secondary weapons with aoe should have their range listed too.

On a recent DevStream they said that each animation (weapon swing) has its own range, which changes with stances, combos, charge attacks, finishers, etc, and this is why they haven't shown it yet. They are open to the idea of including it though, as soon as they work out a way to show it in a meaningful fashion. They said they're inspired by all the QoL UI changes [DE]Pablo has been implementing/suggesting.

Absolutely. But if this has to start, it might as well start with the melees. Coz Range is a vital thing when it comes to melee.
