OK, so you and a bunch of other players get all twisted about a small pink pokeball on the side of your frame for seven days, and then it will never come back to that frame once removed?  Doesn't nerf you, just messes with Fashion Frame?  And that's a viable reason to get all bent out of shape for today's player base?  Did it cause you to lose a Miss Warframe pageant?  Is that why you're so miffed?  That deserves a wall of text?

Do you really think DE, who is just outstanding as a developer comparative to their peers, got up in the morning and decided to hose the playerbase?  No.  Mess with em maybe, but pretty sure it was all in good fun.  And it's an interesting mechanic.  Just like Archwing.  They may not always land in the right spot, but I like the effort.  There's far more good about Warframe than there is bad...by a lot.

I didn't disagree with any of those points except:

A) Fashion Frame is the point for many, it is THE Nerf that matters, it is what we pay for... I logged in for 9 months,bought things, dressed my frame got inspired and logged out, it was the game, a new weapon will come again and again.

B) There is a glitch that restores them for some

C) There is no point or cool mechanic, how about if you play with other frames their passive hovers on you for 7days? Wait that would help...

D) Watching the devstream shows, joy in trolling from some simply because it gives them a chuckle, being personally affected by player criticism and no verbal plan or solution to this issue which has recieved Numerous Walls of text.

 

I am producing these walls of text because people try and diminish this even though all complaints are valid, it's addition makes no sense and it directly affects the Bottom Line and other players psychologically even if not you.

There should be a vaccine by now.

 

"It's not a big deal" TO YOU, but to me "and a bunch of other players" it is.

It's worth an endless stream of walls of text to me and others. I won't run out of words, before they run out of content believe me.

 

I love the game and like playing with other players, looking their best, not being annoyed and worried aout teaming up for no reason.

 

If someone gets it in their head they're "gifting" a helminth by giving someone a cyst, for real or a joke to troll, It needs to be made clear, your gift is undesired TOTALLY

 

DE added it to the game and it would cost them money to do anything about it. It costs nothing for players to play Nidus solo and not spread the cyst or ignore it completely so DE can move past it onto something interesting not wrecked with division

If you bring it up, bragging about trolling people with it knowing that it is a sore spot for many, YES I will activate "La Flame"

As a self-proclaimed jury of the Miss Eris 2014 pageant I'd consider pick cyst to be an advantage.
Until today, I was convinced it is only limited to the neck area, but apparently it can move lower and cause severe pains. We have been given a possibility of removing it, which in effect should ease the pain... at least in most cases.

I cure all of my frames. If there's ever another infested pet added I'm just going to build a new Oberon, use him as a carrier for a cyst, make the new gross pet, and then introduce the Oberon to the airlock.

Now there's a sensible approach, unlike some people who should likely seek professional help

One thing they could at least do is make the cyst's bright pink areas tied to the warframe's energy color. Even though it may still look ugly, it'll match your color scheme.

14 Frames Bandaided until I get a new frame or pull out the other 13+. still have 7 primes in foundry unbuilt

We are seeking help from "professional" developers

this is a glorified casino

"Gamification"  works by keeping people hooked and feeding you by encouraging their compulsions not repulsing them.

That is the professionals job here, keeping us hooked, playing and paying. Not giving us a 7day break everytime something new comes out that we should be sharing with others to encourage sales instead of hiding in solo mode until you're ready not to use it for 7 days or spread the cyst.

I genuinely laughed.  I imagined opening the door and Rhino kicking Oberon in the back right out of the ship.
