neKroMancer
Raid and capture are too similar, one is hitting a button to collect artifact and another is sucking hapless dude in to your palm. Keep one and rework another, I don't really care which. The survival mission sounded yummy.

Keep one and rework another, I don't really care which.... While mechanically similar (you still have to defeat the capture guy).. they are completly different results on the basis of a cohesive setting. If warframe was never about having a story I could see your ratinael being valid, but its about having a cohesive setting. If you take the mechanics to a basic enough level they are all the same. Go to an area, push a button to collect, or leave something or push a button to shoot, exit the mission. Edited August 1, 2013 by Loswaith
Cinderain
Alot of people play raid and DE says its the least played mode.... ? I'm pretty sure they would know.

Capture could involve chasing the target through the ship before timer runs out or unlocking the room from multiple control panels or finding a way in to the target's room without breaching the front door. Capture makes no sense. Why keep Corpus crewman in a room without any security or even a simple lock. You can simplify everything to pressing keyboard and clicking mouse but that is irrelevant to the discussion. Don't bring that up.
WhiteCopain
It's not an interesting thing to do, It's too similar to the others, you're just holding back change. I'd rather something that feels unique rather than "OH MAN I DO THE SAME THING BUT THIS TIME I HOLD AN ITEM"

Katface
I also enjoyed playing Raid missions. Not sure how it ranked so low on the least played list to be removed. I was sad to hear this today in the Twitch livestream.
Gigatron-Prime
I thought raid was the easiest to farm. I think they're numbers are screwed up. Not many people do Raid because NOT MANY MISSIONS ARE RAID!
Zectifin
I never play spy. They are annoying. The only missions I do besides defense or boss runs are raid.

Oh I'm all for them tweaking, polishing and making them better. Updating and improvng a mission type is not exclusive to adding new ones, both can occur. It doesnt however change the fact that the Lotus and Tenno are obsessed with recovering the orokin artifacts from the other factions, yet DE want to remove the mission where you are doing that exact thing? So suddenly its now ok for the other factions to have orokin technology? Edited August 1, 2013 by Loswaith

If the NPCs were dumb enough to get captured in the first place, I think we should get the option to zap it again so that we can carry it in our pocket as we move to extraction. Tazmanyak
/signed DE please, dont remove the Raid missions. But, Rework the Spy missions, having to use secondary only with this #@% datamass is annoying Rework the Rescue pmissions, by giving the hostage a better AI (wel, could say ... give him one AI ... those guys are so stupid ...) Destro6677
How the hell is Raid least popular? It's Rescue and Spy that are. Nobody likes baby sitting an useless derp NPC and Spy missions remove your pirmary weapon without droping the data mass. The datamass which, if you drop it, has a chance of falling through the map and ruining the mission. D: Raid is fine. I'm not sure what they think is wrong with it or why they need less game modes. This. And the worst possible mission is when a spy mission becomes a rescue mission or the other way around. Zareek
I honestly dont mind it being removed. There are so many ways to make money.
Madotsuki
Keep Raid, why would they have even considered getting rid of it?? Raid is my favourite mission type! Change Spy all you want, but don't get rid of Raid! Why does adding a new "survival" mission type have to result in removing an existing mission type?? >:(
Chaosyn
My only problem with Raids is grabbing an artifact.....and said artifact helps me in no possible way... I don't get a mod,an aura,or even bonus credits for this thing....If it is helping them make advanced weaponry why does it do nothing for me? BUT!! I DO like Raids FAR,FAR more than escorting a recently thawed, mentally challenged,sno-cone to the extraction point,or carrying the "BlackBox" that forces me to only use a pistol (SEER) that when aimed directly at someones face, somehow still misses..... mcryseria
I run raid missions way more than rescue (most annoying mission type) and I know most people do as well.
MeanOgreGrr
I'm a fan of raid missions. They are my go-to mission type when messing around with new gear. Plus a free Fast Hands / Ammo Drum when finished. /signed
BETAOPTICS
Why on earth would I want less mission types in a game that is repetitive in itself, it would become more repetitive as less options would emerge. Instead add more variation to the game.
