Undocumented lighting change after 22.8, harsh and glaring.

(No graphics options adjustments were made between then and now, needless to say.)

And although this was taken in the arsenal, this change isn't limited to the arsenal, or the orbiter. All the tiles I've visited have had much harsher, more glaring lighting than before.

The patch notes don't say anything about this, so I'm not sure what to think. Maybe some people would like it, but I feel like the game looks a lot worse now.

I noticed this as well, my ship suddenly became glaringly bright, and its quite a bit sore on the eyes. I had to go in and recolour my entire ship black just to be able to walk around my Orbitor without blinding myself.

I wish I was joking, but its actually quite a severe change.

Yep. Thought it was just my Zephyr until I realized it was the entire ship. Typically I run black ship colors anyway so it's not hugely bad, just the lighting system has been changed in the ship with this update. I assume it's because of the ship update for like the new room. But went unnoticed in the patch notes.

I want to bump this topic, since lighting stuff is talked here, because today I noticed my Chroma metallics look basically black on the Orbiter outside the Arsenal chamber:

This is how it's supposed to look and how more or less used to look throughout the Orbiter. It's also the only section where he looks normal right now.

On the front of the Orbiter, however, he looks like this now:

I don't know what's going on with the lighting since the half Khora update, but it's really sad to see knowing all the hard work that went into the PBR and new lighting models from DE's side :(
