its 1,000 * (your Mastery rank+1).

ie. if your MR 21, then you have a 22k cap per day. (NOT limited by syndicate medallions * Standing gained by redeeming medallions does not count towards the daily limit. *)

I mean that for gaining syndicate standing, you have 3 way :

  • The daily standing (gained while wearing the right sigil) (26K for MR25)
  • The syndicate mission standing (3 missions per day) (from 3500 to 3950 standing by mission)
  • The Medallions found in those 3 missions (up to 8 medallions by mission)

(but i have the feeling that you're saying the same ;)

does the daily syndicate missions have the medallions on them?

Yep, that's how you get those.
Use anything with a Loot Radar effect (Animal Instinct FTW) to find them more easily,
some AoE damage (e.g. Ignis / high-Range Paralysis) plus Vacuum helps distinguish Medallions from Containers / other loot.

FYI, for the most part, Defense / Interception won't have any Medallions,
the maps that e.g. Saturn / Sedna and Uranus Defense use are an exception for some reason.

Ok, so I've found a few but I didn't have time to find out how to use the medallions before I have to go work.

(I'm working hard right now) :crylaugh:

So do I go to relay and hand it in to my choice of Syndicate?
Is there a expiry date to how long I can have the medallions?
And are they always near loots crates and caches?
I scoured the whole map trying to find them but only found 3/8 before I give up.

Thanks :)

The medallions are Syndicate-specific. Eg. Red Veil ones (marks) are different than New Loka ones (seeds), so you can only hand them in to the appropriate Syndicate, and you pick them up from the corresponding missions. They never expire.

They are sometimes near loot crates, but not always. And they can sometimes be in hidden loot areas that are out of the way. Sometimes I'll get 7/8 even after I think I've gone through the entire map with loot detectors, and I just chalk it up to not knowing all the hidden areas.

Something to add. Defense/Interception missions don't have medallions and give more standing (5k ish) on max rank dailies, except a couple of maps that do spawn them (Hydron-map syndicate defense and some snowy one) and sometimes they have 6 instead of 8 medallions.

Some can be in pretty out-of-your-way places, Medallions seem to share possible spawn locations
with e.g. Sabotage Caches, so this video might show you some spots you've never thought to check:

(No guarantee on how thorough / up-to-date this is, mind you.)
