Syndicate Medallions in the Void spawning in unreachable locations...

This is not a complaint about the difficulty of finding the Syndicate Medallions. In fact I usually find them all quite fast without any problems.

But I often found my self in Syndicate Missions in the Void in which I could not pick all up because one or two spawned in locations which can't reliably be opened.

I often thought about posting something here but always thought that somebody allready has done that. But after a few years now since I was in such a situation for the first time I think I finaly have to.

I took some screenshots in the last mission:

1. Mission Progress: You see I only found 7 Medallions.

2. and 3. The Room in which I guess the Medallion spawned behind the wall. You can see it on the Loot Radar. I tryed to destroy it with my Atterax (with maxed Primed Reach), so im sure its not a chest.

I always destroy every chest and pick up everything so that I can clearly see what is left, which must be either a Medallion or an Ayatan Statue. I know that the Loot Radar does only show loot up to 11m above or below you so I check high rooms and low places on different hights as well.

I realise that this is nothing really important, but to me it is still annoying to not be able to get this last piece of loot (whatever it might be) because it spawned in an unreachable location.

Also this Room is not the only one where loot spawns which is not always accessible.

Same sadly can happen to Cephalon Fragments and Somachords also, you have no control of what doors open at times in such vault rooms or certain secret rooms, they shoudl simply not spawn there at all or make them openable in some manner, at best put a console there to hack. Its silly and odd, i understand the vault rooms with a timer shut close but optional doors should be optional to open simply.

Ugh, yeah, that one always bugs me. I've reported it several times in various threads for years but it seems like it's always overlooked.

 

The new Corpus tileset has quite a few of them, too.

Previous Corpus rescue missions had those side vents you could enter through, which used to be spawn locations for them.

In that image I'm facing a medallion stuck behind a wall, since those entrances are gone.

With quite a bit of effort, I was able to get one of these even though the doors were closed.

This one however just doesn't seem to be spawning in any logical location.(Doesn't even seem like there's a floor in that section of the rescue)

Spy vaults can also bug out placing medallions in vents that are sometimes open, but then can also be closed with the unbreakable vent right allowing you to see what you cannot have. Thankfully there are still some work arounds currently.

If by workarounds you mean restarting the mission, I'd rather not spent another 5-10 minutes doing the same mission :P
