  1. The multishot stat multiplies the number of shots (bullets, pellets, or whatever the weapon uses).

The base multishot stat for all* weapons is 1.0.

Multishot mods, like Split Chamber, increase the multishot stat for that weapon by a percentage (max +90% for Split Chamber).

The base number of bullets, pellets, or whatever for the weapon is multiplied by the multishot stat, and any fractional values have a chance to be fired or not. So a single shot rifle which would normally fire 1 bullet, with a maxed Split Chamber, will fire 1.9 bullets; but as you can't fire 0.9 of a bullet that round has a 90% chance to be fired and a 10% chance to not be fired.

Riven mods with a negative multishot modifier have the ability to reduce the multishot stat for a weapon below 1.0, a riven with -40% multishot used on the same single shot rifle from before without any other multishot mods would reduce its multishot stat to 0.6; meaning that the rifle now has a 60% chance to fire a single round and a 40% chance to fire no round at all.

All completely logical, all working as intended.

(* Note: Some weapons may have an innate multishot stat of higher than 1.0, but that is different to firing more than 1 pellet and irrelevant to this discussion anyway.)

I think that depends on the BP's replication cost.

Honestly, I would like to see these things cost like tons of credits to replicate one, which should, in theory, creates a balance between supply and demand, plus a justified credit sink.

So, it turns out that the replication cost for the Ignis Wraith BP is 15k credits, the same as every other clan BP.

  3. All games need a 'catch-up' system, or they die as more and more new players realise they're never going to be able to match what the vets have, and quit.

Exclusivity should be reserved for cosmetic items, not anything that affects gameplay.

Except there's the aforementioned "Invalid target" message when trying to devour them.

Yep, and because it's the Wikia and not an official DE source it's hard to say which is the correct behaviour.

I don't think the issue is Inaros vs Titania, but whether Inaros should be able to Devour Hellions while they are flying.

So many obvious cash cows in WF now, its practically unplayable.

Right?! That's exactly why Warframe is consistently one of the most popular games on Steam, has 40k concurrent users and that number is trending upwards!

    Oh... wait.

In my opinion the latest changes had destroy the Ash game play more than 60%.

How are you measuring 'game play', and how did you calculate 60%?

And one (1) at 20 warframes is Ash

I have no idea what this means, there are 31 different warframes currently (excluding primes).

Is not the same coordinate 10 man army, as coordinate 300 man army.

If a single warlord is trying to coordinate an entire moon clan personally, then they're doing it wrong.

Delegation becomes increasingly important as the size of your clan grows.

The only real issue would be the handling of Trophies and such. I mean I have only unsatisfying solutions in my mind. Like, merge the Trophy stacks... or make the Trophies Bound to the Players who Participated in the Events. And it could pretty much destroy the existing Leaderboards. Buuut I'd love to merge Clans, I got some Solo-Clan friends who don't want to join my Clan because of the effort they already put into their Dojos and Trophies.

Well, I call it a merger but really it would have to be a takeover. One clan would get completely absorbed into another.

I hadn't considered trophies, but I guess nothing would really change for the new host clan, and for the clan that got absorbed the trophies could be turned into ornaments given to the members of that clan to put in their orbiter.

Historical leaderboards would stay as they were, current leaderboards would reflect the membership of the new merged clan.

Clan merging could be disabled during clan events, but if rosters get locked for competitive purposes at the start of the event then there's no need even for that.

  9. I don't know where this idea is coming from that (Primed) Point Blank has any relationship to crits.

Replacing a maxed Point Blank (+90%) with a maxed Primed Point Blank (+165%) will increase your overall damage output by 39.5% (265/190).

Whether your weapon has 0% crit, 100% crit, or anything in between makes no difference to that at all.

That way people dont exploit it and buy the blueprint and sell it for 20 plat each or such.

The price may be 20 plat or higher now, because supply is limited, but in 24 hours when everyone's research is complete, the price of an Ignis Wraith BP will crash.

Coincidentally, this will also be a good demonstration of what an auction house would do to the wider Warframe economy, as people will be able to see first hand what happens to prices when supply far outstrips demand.

I just like marelok design and how it feels (i tried out regular version) more than lex prime (tried this one too)

Well, that's as good a reason as any to use a weapon.

I'd spend your points on the Vaykor Marelok for now then.

    Sweet Jesus

Can someone from DE respond or at least can a mod lock this thread. Every single macro thread is the same thing and the same whiny people over and over again and its really getting annoying.

    Then don't read them?

Unless the OP requests a lock or the thread breaches forum rules there's no reason to lock it.

  13. All weapons are worth getting at some point, just for the mastery if nothing else.

I'd put a potato on Hek and use that for now but don't worry about putting forma into it unless you have some to spare, get the Vaykor Hek once you've got your hands on Primed Ravage.

I'd also look at the Lex Prime instead of the Vaykor Marelok, it's one of the easier primes to get, although the Vaykor Marelok is a very good weapon.

Vaykor Hek has 25% crit chance, Hek has only 10%.

That makes no difference, you're still increasing your flat damage bonus from +90% to +165% on both weapons (+150% to +225% with Blaze).

  15. 1 minute ago, GennaPetrovich said:

No, I don't have these mods.

If you don't have Scattered Justice, then the Vaykor Hek is better in all situations.

Edit: Yes, the Vaykor Marelok is plain better than the Marelok.

  16. 8 minutes ago, AerinSol said:

Regular hek is better until you have Primed Point Blank enter the equation. Then no matter what. Vaykor Hek beats it.

That makes no sense, Primed Point Blank is a damage increase for both weapons in the same ratio.

    To the OP...

The regular Hek (with Scattered Justice) is better early on, but as you start investing forma into both weapons the Vaykor Hek overtakes it and becomes the stronger weapon.

Um, I said we only had melee weapons equipped, I clearly stated no other weapons were being used, and the frames were maxed rank, trust me this isn't my first rodeo.

Hmm, so you did, apologies for missing that.

It would have been very interesting to see the end of mission results, particularly who did most damage and who had most kills.

It could be that the Telos Boltace user was doing lots of damage, because of the wave slash procs, but others were last-hitting and getting more kills.

Without the results screen it's impossible to say.
