Well something went wrong... like the points they made could have gone to the clan they were previously in. And since they left the clan maybe it got registered as they never did it. So they did not get a prize. ( since he made this post regarding not having it... and he should have it by now, something went wrong )

Regardless its a easy fix and you don't need to bother DE on this.

The console event hasn't ended yet, afaik.

If you were on PC I would just give you both a free BP... I'm sure someone can give you both one since it only costs 15000 credits for the clans that got the hardcore prize.

It shouldn't be necessary, as they should get the BP for reaching the Participation tier in their new clan.

Even clans formed during the event are eligible for that reward tier.

if I might interject there. I have played it a lot, and its GREAT. IF you know how to use it, and that's a big if, a lot of people seem to not care and think he's still bad, even though I can dominate hieracon with him......

I haven't tried him myself yet since the rework, but the idea that you have to be out of the rift yourself to put enemies in the rift sounds like a big change to his playstyle and potentially worrisome for such a fragile frame.

im fairly sure they said its based on player usage.

Yeah, but how do you measure 'usage'?

Is it over the last year, the last quarter, the last month?

Do you measure the amount of use by number of kills, amount of affinity gained, time in missions?

It's not at all clear how disposition is calculated beyond a very ambiguous 'popularity'.

  5. Just now, Zeclem said:

it had the lowest disposition. simulor and soma followed it.

It would be very nice to see the method/formula DE use to calculate riven disposition, like what time period they're looking at and how they measure 'usage'.

Regardless, I still rarely saw them in missions.

  6. 3 minutes ago, Zeclem said:

what you refuse to realize is THAT is what keeping them in balance. tonkor was literally most used weapon for a very good reason.

For a "literally most used weapon" I rarely ever saw it in missions.

Maybe a year ago they were more popular, but for me they were a rarity even before the nerf.

  7. Alternatively just have 'smart' grenades/projectiles that don't detonate if they are in range of a player.

There's still a downside (no damage dealt to enemies if the grenades can't explode) without the annoyance of self-inflicted deaths.

  8. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the amount of clan affinity you get for researching the Hema is 10k, compared to the usual 3k for clan weapon research.

It's interesting to note that the affinity value doesn't come close to a level that would reflect the effort involved in the research, or the Hema would be worth more like 200k clan affinity, further demonstrating just how crazy and totally abnormal the Hema research costs are.

It seems you didn't look at the full picture, If there were to be a new enemy there would be new missions, maps, and lore. To keep veterans Warframe needs to introduce more planets, warframes, and enemies. The same stuff has become repetitive and boring.

And DE have talked about expanding the startchart, possibly even to another solar system, adding new sentient enemies and sentient weapons that we can use with entirely new systems, not just primary/secondary/melee.

They are already planning that type of an update.

Yes and no.  There is a major power difference between my Ember, who has access to all event, Nightmare & Corrupted mods, and say, my uncles Ember who has...er, nothing but broken mods.

If you nerf my mods down to something similar, my 3 years of game experience is null when it comes to the raw numbers.  Knowing how to build Ember isn't going to help me do more damage if there's a power cap system in place.  I simply cannot out perform someone to the extent I can now.  Sure, I can get more kills because I'm well versed in her power combos and know the benefit of bringing a specific set of weapons, but it might level the playing field a bit more than simply gutting the Warframe.

I think that's what they're trying to get at anyway.

I can see the thoughts behind the idea, I just don't think it would work well in practice.

You'd have to make it optional, I doubt all vets would be happy having their power nerfed when they just want to get that nitain alert over with quickly, which would split the matchmaking pool. How many players do you think would really select the "Yes please, nerf my power for this mission" option? Which would leave new players mostly matching with each other, and with longer queue times.

Alerts aside, how often do vets actually go back and play lower level missions just for fun? It's usually to farm something specific (relics, etc.) and I doubt many would want to deliberately hurt their efficiency while doing that.

I believe it would be a lot of development effort for virtually no positive impact on the game at all.

They can add a new Enemy, boom

You mean like expanding on the Sentient faction? Oh wait... I think they're already planning that.

If it takes months to make a cinematic quest that people play through in a few hours, I'm not sure how much engaging lore content Mogamu thinks can be produced every month.

We'd probably get an hour or two of playtime out of it, at most. Doesn't seem like the key to keeping veterans interested and logging in.

I have no idea why Mogamu is trying to equate passive media like YouTube or TV series to an interactive form of entertainment like Warframe, they're not the same thing at all.

A Quick mockup Example would be...
Actual Stats // Temp Stats fit for say... Mars

      Hide contents

    Primed Continuity +55% //   35%

    Transient Fortitude +55%, -27.5%  // 25%, 13.5%

    Constitution 40%, 28% // 20%, 14%

    Stretch 45% //  30%

    Primed Flow 275% //  150%

    Streamline 30% // 25%

    Intensify 30% // 25%

    Corrosive Projection 30% // 15%

    Power Drift 15%, 30% // 7%, 15%

    Vitality 440% // 220%

The general idea is to figure out (Which would be easier for the devs) what point most players are at when the first go across Mars, earth, ect and or where they want them to be at and where they want the peak to be at for stats.  This would keep players from totally eclipsing others which would be great for starchart progression and keeping people in a team oriented mindset and give people less to complain about (being waterboys to vets) without nerfing vets to below the average line.  Think of it like Rivens but for each individual planet.  However certain areas should be exempt, obviously Sorties, Void, Derilect, and the Kuva Fortress as well as pluto for example but I think the main starchart that most people will come across would benefit from some rubber-band like stat features.

I doubt that would deliver the result you're after.

Much of the 'power' of vets comes from knowledge of the game and having a wide pool of frames, weapons and mods to choose from, rather than pure stats.

It would be nice I guess.

PS megathread tag is used for Admins only.

Sorry, second time ever posted.  Noted.

And yet the tag is still there, remove it please.

On topic, some way to 'multi-forma' slots would be nice.

(WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE NEURAL SENSOR PLANET)

There are two now (well, if you're loose with your definition of 'planet'), the Kuva Fortress also drops Neural Sensors.

If DE was serious about Policing lower level areas they could do what FF:ARR does when high level players go to (Comparatively) low level dungeons.  They 'Temporarily' reduce the cap on a players stats.  So instead of a Level 80 player having say... 98 Strength in level 20 content he has 30 Strength while in that content.  This is a viable option for them to persue if they were interested in such things, each mod could have a "Temp-Cap" Similar to that in lower level (Early Starchart) areas.

That type of system works well for games with clear vertical progression and obvious stats that you can simply reduce, how would you implement it in Warframe which isn't that type of game at all?

Maybe i write somethong wrong but what i meant to say was about stacking the puncture procs...

I need to test how much the enemy's weapon damage is reduced, and how much effective it could be...

There's a much more effective way to reduce enemy damage... you shoot them in the face, they die, no more enemy damage.

  16. If DE wanted to release content weekly or even monthly they'd need to take on many more staff to develop that much, or the quality would take a nose-dive.

All similar games have the problem of content gaps between updates, some games fill that gap with PvP (essentially endless player-generated content), but conclave is not massively popular in Warframe at the moment.

Edit: Also, what spoilers? (Spoiler tag)

the quest was actually quite fun the ending was slightly annoying if you dont time your stuff properly

If I were to do it again I'd take Loki into the final quest for his Invisibility and Switch Teleport.

Also, you can crouch to avoid damage/stagger as the beam sweeps round.

Yea but with friendlies now affecting the bubble. No point when you run dry in moments.

Not a problem if you run solo, any invis frame works too as long as you avoid prism damage, or just Defy Wukong.
