ok.... you want me to name broken melee weapons? Why didn't you say so directly?
just to name a few.... Venka prime, Galatine prime, broken war, war, scindo prime, Nikana prime, dragon nikana, redeemer.
They are all good melee weapons, sure, but what do you think is 'broken' about them?

AFAIK you do, it's technically the same mission but tougher, you get credit for nightmare versions of a node as well last I checked.
Well, you can't even run nightmare missions on that planet unless you've already completed them all.

Maybe they are just new people working their way through the star-chart. Not all missions can be done easily solo, and when the mission is suddenly a fissure mission, low level players can actually hope to get matchmade with a team to complete the mission.
Do you get credit for completing the regular mission when you run a fissure mission? I honestly have no idea.
I can't be too critical as I tend towards the "it's public, you have no right to expect anything" mindset, but I do think it's a bit of a $&*^ move to run public fissures without a relic.

Wow has E-Sports, I really don't know a lot about the other two you mentioned.
WoW isn't anywhere near as big in e-sports as Starcraft, and I doubt many people outside the gaming community know much about Starcraft, at least in the West.

That's why my suggestion is usually just to drastically reduce the explosion radius. It will fix most of those issues. I never really cared how much damage it actually does, it's that it does it with no effort against the whole room at once. If they tighten up the blast radius they'll actually require effort to get things done since it'll require more movement and aiming, while still doing good damage.
While the Simulor does have the biggest blast radius in the game, it's not able to be increased with Firestorm (unlike other explosive weapons) and it's still only 11m, which isn't big enough to clear a room unless that room is really small.

Infested survival with a couple of nekros and eventually a couple chromas all with secura lecta decently modded gives you a very nice amount of credits. You can easily reach 70k total in just 5 minutes. better team= more profit.
I'd personally take a pilfering swarm Hydroid and Nekros rather than two Nekros as you can only desecrate the same corpse once.

Personally, I leave Deathsnacks open in a browser tab and jump on any alert that has a decent credit reward.
I've never seen credit alerts as worth running when a quick dark sector mission will always net more credits and are available 24/7.

Directly on topic, in addition to other suggestion's in the thread specific to Mirage + Simulor. What if the clones consumed extra ammo? Not out of the current magazine, that would suck, but out of the reserve pool? That would mean Mirage players would have to at least care about ammo consumption a bit.
I think that's a very reasonable suggestion, but it wouldn't affect the Simulor very much as it's one of the most ammo efficient weapons in the game.

Guess I am a good guy and mostly play Mirage+Simulor alone or when I want to speed run a mission with my friends.
I don't think I've ever played Mirage + Simulor, but then I rarely play Mirage anyway. I've nothing against her, I just haven't got around to focusing on learning her kit properly yet.
My (silenced) SynSimulor gets used for solo Ivara runs, to top off my energy with syndicate procs while I'm prowling.

I've seen three since TWW, one of those was at 99.5% when I noticed it.

Could we please stop fighting amongst each other please? :/
As long as people insist on trying to impose their views on others, that's not likely to happen.
Intolerance is the cause of much conflict.

I've been playing Warframe for over two years. Someone spoke up during a mission the other day and my only thought was "Huh, Warframe has voice chat?".

I'd toned down sound and visual effects of Simulor tho. Constant sounds and vortixes can be annoying.
Other games have the ability to tone down or turn off visual effect and sounds of other party members, that would be a useful addition to Warframe.

Please explain why 3 should suffer for 1? he can of course use what he wants but making game unplayable for others [just bcos you are in a hurry] is not the way others want to play, how can a newcomer enjoy his own time when "Mirage+Simulor" combo joins up and absolutely ruins his entire experience? if "Combo" player wants to do it as fast as possible, he can take solo and then compete on how fast he does the mission.
PUBLIC also doesnt mean that you can barge in and destroy someone's fun, when 3 players ask you to stop, it would be polite to do so [unless you are selfish "tenno-scum"]
Like it or not, playing a race should be done solo as you wont get held back by explorers.
I'm not saying that Mirage/Simulor players are right in playing the way they do, or that your playstyle is "better". What I'm saying is that in a public mission it's futile to try and control the way others play.
Someone who speedruns missions will get just as frustrated sitting at extraction waiting for the explorers to catch up.
If you want to control the way the mission goes, choose 'invite only' matchmaking. That holds true whatever your chosen playstyle.

I think that main problem is not the Simulor + Mirage combo but players using those, even if you ask them to stop since they [eat your fps/make you dizzy/sound annoys you very much/want to enjoy the game] most of the time they do not listen at all and keep doing what they are doing which is ruining the entire game for other players.
What would you have them do, given that they're already in that mission with that primary? Just use their secondary/melee or not use clones, because that's how you want to constrain their gameplay?
3 minutes ago, Date_Terumune said:You want to abuse one thing, fine but when others are asking you to stop, it would be polite to either stop or leave the game since YOU are the problem in the cell which ruings experience for everyone, especialy when you run off on your own denying everyone the affinity share due to range.
It's a PUBLIC matchmaking mission, if you want the ability to control how cell members play then there are also matchmaking options to support that.
Like it or not, most public missions are a race to complete as quickly as possible and get to extraction, that has nothing to do with which frames or weapons people are using. If you're not in affinity range of where the remaining living enemies are, that's on you.

Synoid Simulor should have its ammo pool reduced to 35.
Keep it strong, but force people to make their shots count and at least aim in the GENERAL DIRECTION of the enemy.
Most Simulor users don't even bother with checking if there's any enemies around, they just run through the mission firing non-stop.
That wouldn't make any difference as it uses the most common ammo drop in the game. Even if you changed it to use sniper ammo, carrier + vacuum + ammo case would keep it fed just fine.

Nope, they don't. Only mirage's clones merge with hers because they are counted as her projectiles.
Ah, must just be mine then, because my orbs have definitely been pulled towards another's singularity and not where I aimed them.

5 minutes ago, NyxCrab said:
There's an easy way to do this too:
Make it so each orb from the clones count as a separate projectile or whatever so they don't merge.
Even orbs from different players merge, that's what they're intended to do. I don't get why people think making Mirage's clones act differently would be so easy or the best thing to do.
I do sometimes wish they didn't merge with other's orbs, especially when another Simulor user creates a singularity in a stupid location and it drags my orbs to it and I can't even detonate it to create a new one.

This would require a simple tweak: make mirage clones no longer produce singularities or blasts.
You definition of simple, and that of the developer who would have to make this proposed change, may be very different.

If you do a thing, it's only natural to try and do that thing more efficiently.
I like the suggestion that was made in another thread about trade chat, to be able to filter the trade chat for only messages containing the item you're interested in.
That way it's optional, not a forced splitting into multiple tabs. You can still view the full trade chat if you want to.
-
Just now, -Voltage- said:
although it is called "Trade chat", only thing people are saying is WTTF, but almost 80% of the time, no one messages them. Trading could have its own tab maybe.
I don't mean the WTT folks, I mean people who buy and sell lots of parts/mods/imprints/other stuff who would have to try and watch all the tabs under your scenario.

the problem is that warframes economy is no where near stable.
If you think Warframe's economy is unstable, you clearly haven't played many other MMOs.
5 minutes ago, -Voltage- said:The current trade system just needs tabs for prime parts, mods, and misc (lens and resources (Steve mentioned tradeable resources so wait until 2035 for his))
While that might work for people just looking to buy or sell one item, it would be a nightmare for traders.

Is buying frame slots really an issue, even for free players?
It's not hard to collect 20 junk prime parts and sell them for 1p each to folks looking to turn them into ducats (unless that is no longer a thing?).
