Super yes. Personally, I don't like the new animations themselves, either, since I feel like they try to do too much in the amount of time they take, but that's a separate issue. The main thing is definitely them happening automatically.

I was under the impression mantling has always been automatic. Pressing Ctrl never did anything to mantling.
You were under a mistaken impression, then. Pressing control while running up a wall would make you grab to a ledge above you if one was in range, and if you didn't press it you'd just run directly up to the surface above or else launch higher up.

Nitpick: The original Tribes had the physics issue that led to skiing, which was then deliberately implemented into Tribes 2.

Well, there goes Decoy's effectiveness against the Infested.
Also everything else, since it seems to pretty much roll a die to decide whether enemies decide to care about it or not.

They can headshot, but it's not always practical to do so. Certain animations, like the heavy weapon jump attacks, are capable of doing them fairly consistently, while others are not.

Honestly, I don't really see a need for it to use antimatter at all rather than conventional particle physics.

DE still doesn't seem to realize that you can't have minor situational utility boosts using the same system and pool of resources as massive stat improvements and expect anyone to use them.

This. I'd been to kill General Vor a couple of times, but always in a party, and my teammates were blasting through the level because they'd seen it all before. The closest I'd ever gotten to the general was seeing his waypoint on the horizon as somebody else gunned him down.
So I decided to solo the guy for the full experience. On the way to see him, I was committed to killing everybody that got in my way, mostly to stop them sneaking up behind me in the next room. This was challenging but a lot of fun. I had my duel with Vor, got out with about a quarter of my health...and no damn ammo, no energy. The sheer number of Grineer looking to avenge Vor on my way back to the extraction point was the highest in the level, and I had nothing to take them on with. Doing parkour around them can be fun, but spamming slide-jump-slide gets old and nets me no rewards.
And to add to this: If you die, you get nothing. All the mods, resources, and blueprints you've picked up during the mission? Gone. This is incredibly discouraging for new players.

The community means nothing in an online game? Without the community, you don't have a game. Players are content, without them you have nothing to play with or against.
I think some people expected GunZ to actually have something to do with GunZ, only to find out that that wasn't the case. Don't try to say that these exploits don't hurt people when people use them to make others feel lower and push them away. Just look at this thread for a good example of that.

Guess you misunderstood the idea of an open-beta. Perhaps it would be beneficial for you to find the definition.
The fact that you don't understand the difference between an open beta and internal QA speaks for itself.
