  1. Interceptions are my worst game modes. I never liked to jump in jump on towers in between and kill cheater mobs whom instant capture everything. Also they start with advantage and in higher levels without a team is not really enjoyable. My most liked mode is survival because I like to run long runs and massacre mobs in order.

    They could just add a different ability which unique to the Djinn theme and make that mod universal same how they did with the Carrier and it's vaacuum. They could add some toxic or gas related ability or a mini miasma like ability to it upon death detonates and melt enemies close 6-10 meter range. 

  3. Djinn has the ability to revive itself and that could work for all sentinels. Once your sentinel died you need to wait 30-60 seconds till the sentinel revives itself. Sentinels already in a weak spot but a change like this could make them more valuable. The reason why is this not a thing because then it could make the other companions obsolete. I see differently and I wish them for more survivability, revivability, better and more weapon sets.

    Actually I thought it would be an interesting idea to implement or just make a site with warframe dating. Could work like the recruit chat but actually only for chatting and meeting online with others. Already there are a lot of player whom met with his/her future partner in video games and warframe also achieved this.

  5. I am surprised Gearsmatrix not commented here yet. I do not think there are a worst frame or best frame because it is depend on the usage and their roles.

    What I think needs some touch is exalted weapons so frames with the exalted weaponry can get some touch. Excallibur however could drop the radial javellin because that ability not kill after a point and has no real use on higher levels. The blind ability is his best and his last are "fine" but needs some look up.

    Valkyr needs some touch up too to replace her ripline with something or just make it scale. 

    The glass cannon frames after the armor/shield treatement much more viable than before but Nyx could see some tweaks and ability revisits. Would not remove any of her abilities instead tweak them and add some extras. Her bolts could deal damage like in the old days and keeping the armor reduction too. She more likely needs a physical change on her body department to look less like excallibur and give her a new unique identity.

    Ash is a ninja frame and while he does not really needs too much I would just increase his smoke sceen a bit and add him an exalted weapon (shuriken) which can be modded and could scale more than his shurikens. It could work the same way just become much better at killing.

    Trinity is in an okay place because she is a support / medic by role but I would just merge her first and second ability to do both and give her a new buff or self protecting ability which could synergize with her link. I personally think she can use a buffing ability because it feels the heal and energy regen could go in the same way. Not really see the benefit to be separated only just took a slot from an interesting mod. However she is still has her uses.

    Revenant can be more eidolon esque frame. I do not have problem with his current form but I get why Gears think his abilities are a mess because the devs just put together some ability and voila there is revenant. He can have some more sentient esque abilities but I like his mesmer skin because that has a lot of use and preventing him from oneshots. His first can use the nyx mind control treatement so your thralls won't die until the duration is on. Reave is okay I guess but I never figured out how can I use efficiently. Danse macabre is just a damaging ability but not fit to him. He have mostly identity problems.

    Limbo is almost fine but he is not a team friendly frame unless you request him. You can roll and avoid his banish but his cata can prevent you do many things and if the devs removing these limitations on players then it would be more useful.

    Other than this I do not see too much problems. Chroma and Atlas questionable but Atlas atleast could be more useful and the Chroma is the one whom I feel the real need of revisit to become an actual dragon.

    I find most aspects of the game quite poetic, while we're not told everything, it's clear that we have alot to see within the game. It's definitely a unique experience and not as random as some might think.
    The game improved, is improving, and will improve again. I suppose I too might have yelled in a few posts if some updates were truly disappointing to me. Didn't happen yet.

    I like the story, the designs, sometimes I stumble on sound effects I really appreciate, I like the freedom we're being given on pretty much every corner of the game. I like the fast pace movements. I like the fact we have so many stuff to do in the game, it's pretty much like having many games in one game at this point. There's always something to test, something to try. Next time I play, I'm going to explore Oberon some more, and Sobek. This "Acid Shells" mod is quite intriguing.
    I'm excited for next Nightwave too, cutscenes and dialogues were cool but if I can interact with them, it's even better to me.

    Back on you for a bit, you can most likely get a male or female look with all your frames. Hide the chest with armor if you want to make a female body into male, change equipment, change animation, you can play with attachment, skin, and colors. I don't do that myself, but I know people that do.
    Like they put Garuda animation set on a tenno gen Oberon, I thought it was female enough to me, in fact I didn't recognize Oberon at first.

    The warframes are pretty much armor sets if you really want to draw comparisons to other mmos. Your character is the operator, that's the one where you can specifically choose gender, and voice. For the warframes you jut have to customize it until it look like what you want.
     

    They need a game designer to make a complete enjoyement from the fragments. Most of what you wrote is fine and I agree with some parts and the fast pacing is a great thing and no other game have similar invented. Most things which prevents the better AI is partially the movement system. In the old times the game was more slower and in one point harder because of the movement system was much slower. Enemies was not smarter just our weapons dealt a lot less and the variation was much lower.

    I know with armor part you can fade some part but that is not what I meant. I do not like the extra armor parts because those mostly not fit to the frames what I wish to design and I just don't feel the need to spend money on them. In the early days of the game there was some tries to make dual gender frame designs ( Nyx was mrs Excal ) Ember was male and mag have had a male counterpair but later they decided to go with a single gender "personalities".  I do not mind the way they went because this not bothered me too much. What bothered me is they added teens as main characters and I do not like their lack of customization. If they implements them in the first place and make it in a different way then I would be more acceptable with them but they are just annoying. Same with the transmissions which lack of variation and there are no choices or some minor interesting addition on it.

    I am an Oberon main and he is a good frame, very much fun to play with him and he is durable. All arounder which makes him worthy to play but it is pretty much preferences. I started as Loki back in day and he is also a good frame however a bit out to date but still useful.

    Most of points you tried to get out are key elements, it's like you're trying to circle the whole game like you said at the beginning of your post. You even hinted at the fact you dislike how the story is being handled.

    Well damn. I'm curious to hear about the parts you actually love now.

    Key elements and a lot of systems are made up for gambling. 

    What I like in this game is the environment because despite it is a budget game there are good designs and interesting parts on maps but also there are silly invisible walls or limitations.

    I like the warframes in general and their design, however a bit sad they did not went for the gender options. Most mmo games does not gender lock classes but this game had no real direction and basically in the end of closed beta pushed the single frame - single identity idea.

    I lke the gunfights aswell and beign semi immortal. Most weapons sounds nice and there are some beautiful weapons to choose from but there are also a lot of items what not really got variations.

    The mission types are okay and I like the variety but could be more is always a go to for me.

    Some core story elements and entries are interesting but everything is sadly handled by DE as DE does. Let it rot years then go for it once everyone forgot it. They do have this behavior which costs jobs here where I live. This is a luxury not to finish something and DE often doing this. It took them years to buff for example the status mods but even that buff is still not enough for most weapons. 

    What I like mostly which catched me years ago is the potential of the game to become something interesting but the game is defy with this potential and never really grows up, like a child who have his/her own idea of life but the parents think otherwise. If the devs and chinese overlords think a little bit then they give the game a direction to go for and not making fragments which has no meaning at all. 

    I personally think this game could improve here and there but it needs a full revisit and change of direction to become a game which not losing too many players but gives them fun hours without time-money gating. You personally what like about the game? You asked me and here is some what I likes.

  8. I could say the whole game because it is basically a mobile game on pc. I like this game but all the mechanics and all the goals is no differ than any mobile game on the market. Basically you can rush things, pay for things what must be free for all, grind the game with poor rng, no tutoring system for newer players, no have normal economy only entropy (no pay no gain).

    A lot of things introduced to the game with no direction, logic behind it and a lot of things introduced with no context. I can say operators if we use adults as operators and they are with us from the beginning then we could accept them more easily. I personally not finished the second dream quest only a half year ago because I don't want to deal with those "emo" kids. Their introduction in this way was a bad idea but the developers thought it will be a great thing. The list is not in any order only just my ideas what I think it is bad mechanic.

    I personally can name some mechanics what I think should be revisited and worst currently. It is my only opinion so please take it that way.

    1. Operators - Operators came from nowhere because in the start the game would have been a mecha esque super power armor game with tactical level of difficulity and the operators seems reinvented in different form from the dark sector game or as an inspiration of full metal alchemist. I personally not like their voice, the lack of customization and the whole focus system invented around them.

    2. Railjack - The game at the start was a simple looter shooter with corridor esque maps and that limited a lot of choices but was more familiar with the game. The current state of railjack is more like a star citizen esque "we become all arounder" game which consists corridor type of missions, open world, space, different tiles which is not bad but these all invented as separated islands and has nothing to do with the latest updates. Otherwise not a bad idea but isolated.

    3. Space aids aka neck cyst - Whoever was the brain behind it I hope you enjoying the show. Simply idiotic, no needed also conflict with the lore " which is itself a mess".

    4. Rush for platinum - It is obvious because these mechanics are time gates and you could pay for your convenient which is a silly idea in a game like this. In the old time there weren't these kind of time gates and the whole rush mechanic is degrading the game into a mobile game level. I know they wants the players to take their time to get levels and become familiar with the content but for this they could make interesting and challenging content and not going to the lazy way to timegate something.

    5. Modding system - The modding system itself would not be a bad idea, in the early phase the game went with skill tree and I personally prefer that because you can make small passive buffs and make a path of exile like skill tree which increase the build variety. The game not reward your skill only reward you for the build what you are using and 90% of builds are similar and a lot of mods unused because you have no real choice to try other things unless you handicap yourself and deal less damage, move slower, not use regeneration etc. Lack of choices.

    6. Boss fights - Any game have their own boss fights which involves around them but in warframe most of the bosses are just sponges or have stupid invulnerabilty phases. The lack of variations of bosses, minibosses are makes the game less interesting.

    7. Lack of AI - Artifical intelligence in a pve game is crucial but each kind of game use some type and warframe is using a simple one. I know not an easy task to make a game and an ai which smart enough to challenge you ( pvp exists is for this reason ) but if a game has no real idea what it want to be then it is a hard task to make an ai which revolve around that idea. Warframe currently is a mess "it was ever a mess" with no real direction just isolated chunks.

    8. Lack of tutorial - Tutorial is implemented in some kind and every game has some kind of tutorial but warframe is confusing because the lack of direction. Not a hard game by my opinion and I as a newbie easily learned what the game has for me but the game become more complex overtime so the game tutorials should follow this and teach the new players how to use a certain thing in game. 

    9. Chat and the different rooms - Chat is a primitive thing in this game it does the main task but there are a lot of games which makes it easier to read the messages, have in game message sender not only the gift messages and notes, also could link sites and videos. This chat is on the level of early 2000' but a lot of games did a better job in that time too.

    10. Trading - Trading is essential for earning platinum but a lot of players think the game has any normal economy. Surprise but no, the only economy is if you pay money for platinum and that platinum goes to other players and finally back to DE. There are very less items can be traded, most items are non tradeable and a lot of items are non consistent on what you can sell or get. You cannot buy rescources basically only loot them or buy from market, you cannot sell certain items also the game using a primitive way for trading and no I don't think the game only lacks of auction house but something better should be in this game to make it more convenient.

    11. Archwing - the whole concept of space shooting could have been interesting but the whole game mode is a buggy mess also there is not so much option to do because the lack of nodes. Also this game mode locks some places on starchart what makes necessary to done if you wish to play nightmare missions or just progress.

    12. Mastery system - basically you just level up items and get new weapons and frames. This is a kind of timegate and not measurement of any skill. Simply exists to feed some ego and make proud some people.

    13. Slots and base colors - Simple reason them to exists to save your data? Sounds silly. I do not like the idea of gate your progress if you not willing to pay for. Slots now can be earned by the nightwave but not too commonly and the collectable items in the game always growing so if you not sacrifice your items or buy slots you basically limited. The base color should be free for all because it is a feature what every simple drawing-painting program knows also many games with customizations use as baseline feature and not an addition. Dead or Alive 6? Whoah.

    14. Rivens - Rivens as an idea would not be bad idea because in the diablo and many other game in the arpg genre invented and used this. Exception is this game is only use randomized stats but our equipment is not randomized. They claim these invented to help the weak weapons but those items just needed reworks and stat adjustment even a whole system ( meele, damage, armor ) reworks to become viable. With this they just introduced more grind and I know these are not necessary items but these increased the sales of platinum and the chance to get bad platinum via shady traders. Also not helps the weak weapons because it boosts the good ones too so in the end you are using the same items.

    15. One Time events - These are time gates and invents only a bad behavior also locks newcomers from it. It is limits the reasons and choices so the new players won't be interested in these events no matter what the original goal or reward. There must be weekly events in rotation so everyone could get in time what they wanted also there are a lot to do for older players aswell.

    16. Lack of exploration - Once you finished the starchart you will realize the game basically has a limited tileset and there are no option to make new maps to make the game more interesting and this is bad for those whom wish to explore new places, find more and various rewards because the game simply has no more kuria-fragments like collectibles what you can earn. No new places and the open worlds feels empty.

    These are my opinions on what mechanics or parts where the game lacks and must be improved. I would not include the lore because the lore is a mess and the whole story always retconned in order to fit into the new vision of the game. Hopefully they will fix it in some way to be more interesting and then the followed mechanics could be reworked aswell.

  9. In my opinion they could add new places moons like Titan, Ganymede, Enceladus, Europa could get more ice and brighter tiles, Titan could get some gasy metan lake outdoor tile with grineer-corpus faction battles. 

    I would like to replace the mercury asteroid tile to a new tile which has similar rooms and tiles like the ceres tile. The asteroid could get some love also they could do something with the unused map parts. There are a lot of tiles / rooms which unused.

    Mars could get some fixes but overall not urgently need rework. Phobos may could get a "moonbase" esque tileset. 

    What I would add also is some new place on Earth, Mariana is okay (underwater) Everest could get some mountain base esque tiles, we could get some jungle, rainforest, tundra, desert type biomes on Earth.

    Also they could fix the water on the Earth missions. Some part looks nice but there are parts which looks ugly.

    But this is not the subject of what I wish to say. I meant if they have had more people at the beginning then they would probably work faster and balance the team around the tasks. They have roughly 200-280 person in the team but I don't know exact numbers.

  11. While the nostalgy is good and all but I prefer to stay up to date. Games like warframe can only survive if they evolve. Not evolving means the game does not caretake new players and cannot sustain actual players only a handful playerbase that liked the old designs. There is a lot more to do now and still there are systems in the game which haunts from the past what needs an urgent fix.

    More or less the game is better but of course every new addition to the game can be good and bad equal. No developer exists whom can listen to all ideas and can pleases the whole playerbase. They can do rotationally pleases said players but that means they need to waste a lot rescources to fill the space. If DE have had 300-500 workforce then they could make cosmetics, fix old content and make new. 300-500 people is most of the time enough to do stuff "quicker" than a 3-7-10 people developer team.

  12. Impact with just stagger and reducing some armor would be useful. 

    Same with puncture which should penetrate armor and make weakspots on enemy.

    I am not a fan of ragdolling enemies because in my opinion that looks silly also make it hard to kill your target which kills the purpuse to use it.
