  1. Yup, I noticed it too, it's displaying last year's rewards I think. Fixed! I am so glad we started with Kira! Her streams for QTCC never disappoint. Let's f cancer tenno
  2. It's kind of a nerf to some strategies. 350 shields might be a hard ask for some frames to very quickly get after breaking. But shields are beefier and I don't need a full 1.3 sec to cast another ability if my frame is a spammer...so I agree and I disagree with you. It's surely a buff for some frames but an "adjustment" for others. I like these changes but I want to call a spade a spade it's buff, a nerf and an introduction of a new system, all at the same time :)
  3. I am not entirely sure but it might be forced procs and bonus damage from the Tempo Royale stance. https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Tempo_Royale On the picture you seemed to be doing the last neutral melee strike which does have a bonus 100% impact if i am reading the table above correctly.
  4. I agree. I think it will be an optional mod for frames with very low base shields, of which there aren't that many, grendel comes to mind. Also, for frames who still want to use shield gating, however they don't spam abilities enough; some of my mirage buids come to mind, where i am using duration based abilites and will likely not spam enough so i might see the benefit in getting 1.3 sec with just one cast.
  5. On paper, considering the changes in a void, the new shield gating system looks more like a nerf than a buff exactly because of what you just said above. Some frames will struggle to consistently get the same time of invulnerability (1.3 sec) as easily as before with just augur set and decaying dragon key. However, they will always get more than the current minimum (0.3 sec) so I think in most cases, say you get around 0.5-0.8 seconds, it's enough for you to work another cast and use shield gate as you always did. Many others will benefit from max invulnerability (which is now 2.5 sec) easily and all the time (Mag, Harrow, Styanax any frame with pillage or condemn as helminths...) . However, it's not just that. Shields will now have more damage resistance and that will probably be significant unless pushing the enemy level to great heights. Raksa kubrow and robotic mods like guardian and shield charger will now be usable with the companion update. Also, there are arcanes and mods in the game that directly interact with shield recharge and they may see the light of day if people are truly relying on shield gate to survive. I don't look at it as either a nerf or a buff, i look at it like a formalization of the mechanic. I love shield gating but it did feel obscure and gimmicky to use, and it felt counter intuitive to be that way when the mechanic is so powerful and so prevalent.
  6. I think that ship has sunk mate. Honestly Undertow just felt like Hydroid was a bit dead in the water and his new kit seems to work swimmingly.
  7. I would do this to her Absorb: complete freedom of movement and no slow tap or hold mechanic, like Mag's Magnetize tap 4 to activate or deactivate bubble around you, no long release animations if you only tap Absorb you won't get no AoE on release, only the weapon damage buff based on what you absorbed. Tap bubble radius is 50% smaller instead you can hold for the full range and enter the "meditative" state and then release for the AoE with all the animations we currently do increase the magnetic damage buff to weapons to 0.1% of all damage absorbed and not affected by mods so activating and releasing her 4 becomes more thoughtful and rewarding The cost to channel an ability should be energy and not reduced mobility or both as we have now. This is how it works currently: "Absorb drains 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 energy per second, and will remain active so long as Nyx has energy. An additional 8 energy is drained for every 1000 damage that's absorbed" and all costs are affected by efficiency, drain is also affected by duration. I would change it to: Tap version: " Absorb drains 12/9/7/6 energy per second, and will remain active so long as Nyx has energy. Each big hit (1000+ in one hit) to the bubble also drain an additional 20 energy. All energy costs are affected by efficiency and drain is also affected by duration. This is not perfect for high level and values could be adjusted to better reflect damage but it's better than what we have now for sure. The goal is to make tanking fodder and low level units very easy but bosses, eximus, and high level units require more planning, positioning, enemy knowledge, constant use of Chaos, target priority and a good energy economy solution. Take my energy but not my bullet jumps!! Hold version: Absorb drains 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 energy per second, and will remain active so long as Nyx has energy. ll energy costs affected by efficiency and drain is also affected by duration. Just that! You are already paying a big price for just standing still on the same spot without using any tool on your arsenal. It will be a looong while until you reach nuke damage for high level armored units. Eximus units will just feel a breeze passing by either way.
  8. This thread is so carefully written and was such a good pitch I feel my humble comments won't add much to it. Thank you for sharing! But as I do enjoy playing Nyx, I wanted to add just a little bit to it. Nyx is very powerful, her problem is not viability so I don't think she needs these much changes although I really enjoyed your ideas for future frames. I think her biggest design flaw it's how her Absorb works. At the same time it's such a big part of her identity and still one of her strongest tools that I cannot part with it. Nyx can't be invulnerable to everything except stairs, doesn't make any sense in current gameplay if it ever did 10 years ago! Movement is one of the best parts of our game and I think that is the very reason Nyx is very unpopular (bottom 3 at most ranks). Our community values mobility very highly and not even a full invulnerability is worth losing it. It doesn't feel like smooth gameplay, not even with mobility subsumed from Lavos or Revenant helminth and Assimilate augment. Releasing the bubble after eating damage should have more impact and the magnetic buff feels weak, most player don't even know it's there.
  9. I am unsure exactly what pieces you are referring to. Damaged Necramech Weapon Pod? Because that is very common and sells for no plat. Or the Damaged Necramech Weapon Barrel/Receiver/Stock? That is less common and is used not to craft mechs but to craft archguns. A full set of those will cost you because you need to do different iso vault rotations, but if you get 2 of the same you can always trade...
  10. Just like previously stated here. The pity system is the fact they are tradeable between players. If you get two copies of the same piece, sell one and buy what you need. Since players may be doing iso vaults to farm other things and get those mech pieces as an unwanted excess (like me when farming arcanes and weapon pieces...) you can ask around your clan or alliance chat. Knowing this community, chances are someone will just give the pieces to you or sell them at a symbolic price. :)
  11. My bad, I really did not gather all that from your comment, thanks for elaborating. More spawns, more drops, facts!
  12. Mods are not considered a resource and won't be affected by modifiers that just specifically state "resource". https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Resource_Drop_Chance_Booster https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Mod_Drop_Chance_Booster Abilities like Nekros desecrate will affect mods because the ability will make you draw another drop from the loot table of anything that died. Mod Drop Boosters are a separate category and can be occasionally obtained from Sorties, Archons or Baro.
  13. Here is an ancient and forbidden magic to farm common mods: Orokin Treasure Rooms But it's a method that can only be achieved by Tenno who are fast on their feet, harder if you are new. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzGmJtWJJpo https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Orokin_Tower#Treasure_Rooms Pick any node in the Void (but I recommend the captures Hepit and Ukko). Find a hidden room that will open when you hit a pressure plate. Scour every bit of the map. You will know when you find it because a hype drum music will begin, along with a timer, rushing the quick to their rewards. If you need a reference to what this looks like; go to Maroo's Bazaar (Mars) and she will give you a once-a-week mission where one of these treasure rooms is marked. There are different variations of these rooms and they will be generated, even when you are not on a Maroo's treasure hunt, as long as you are in the Void. When you learn and finish the racing puzzle, a room with many crates waits you, destroy all of them. Go again. Of course you can buy the mods for plat, but why would you do that when you can instead sell them ;) Ninjas Play Free
  14. This is the Forums, not an airport, no need to announce departures. Also, see you at the next big update :)
  15. And when the event happens it will appear on your navigation console and on the events tab. It happens like once or twice per month.
  16. This is a great option too, be sure to set your colors to Electricity. But just a quick note, in Hildryn's case this ability reflects back less damage than when used on other frames (I believe a tenth less!) but still scales with Strength mods
  17. Aegis is your best arcane to replenish shields but since your Hildryn's kit is already built in with powerful shield restoration and you may be modding for a faster recharge consider if you are not losing value there. It may be better to equip an arcane that gives you base stats without you having to mod for it (like Molt Augmented or Molt Efficiency) or even something that compliments a powerful weapon you are using like Acceleration for guns or Fury for melees for example. I just wanted to expand on your options because I fear Aegis may be expensive or too long of a farm from the benefit you reap from it in this case.
  18. I have tried more than a couple subsumes on Hildryn and so many abilities that would be energy expensive on other frames work because of her shield economy. For example Ensnare is one the best grouping tools but can be energy hungry and hard to fit on warframe builds, not a problem for Hildryn. Great if you plan to use melee and want a tight enemy group to quickly grow combo counter. Some things also have unique interactions like Voracious Metastasis which will give gigachad energy to all of your allies in range, it's beautiful for ESO and to fit a supportive role. But I am going to cut to my favorite with her: Harrow's Condemn. You will have a powerful CC ability that works on acolytes and demolishers and another tool to replenish shields while your Pillage is expanding and contracting, this is my favorite subsume when I plan to use Hildryn's exalted and keep Haven's up to improve my allies shield gate. The best ability to take out would be her 4, cool but long animations and sadly disables most of your loadout.
  19. A lot of warframes are tied to plot points and key characters throughout the game's lore so there is an argument to state all of them are of importance. When reading your question though, I immediately thought about Gara's story. She is the reason Eidolons haunt the Plains every dusk and without her Cetus wouldn't be standing to see them retreating at every dawn. You said you are using her so you might be familiar with her lore. In summary, Gara was a protector of Cetus. The living structure that is at the heart of Cetus, the Unum tower, was besieged by a massive Sentient every night, one far bigger and far powerful than the Eidolons we know today. The Ostron tried to use Kuva to gain leverage against it but it backfired and escalated the Sentient threat even more. To avoid the Sentient's victory and the fall of Cetus, Gara did the ultimate sacrifice and shattered herself, defeating the Sentient and forcing it to take the form of lesser beings; Eidolons, that would forever roam what is now known as the Plains of Eidolon. If you want to know more details about her, do the quest Saya's Vigil which can be started by doing Konzu a personal favor. The fossilized remains of the greater Sentient can be found in some of the Plains caves and you will be able awaken Gara once more because despite her shattered body, nothing could break her resolve to stay and fight and so we remember her as the Unbroken.
  20. In my opinion, only if you are doing a build with breach surge subsumed, otherwise maybe not. You have to think if a faster 4 cast is worth the mod slot. If you feel that ability is too slow I would recommend you try its augment Blending Talons first. Briefly, this makes the ability a quick explosion around Garuda when you tap, while retaining its normal channel if you choose to hold, scales with range and helps build combo counter. Up to you but casting speed will never do "more harm than good", if a faster 4 cast is comfy to you, please go with it!
  21. I see what you did there Tarnished Tenno. Upon her name as Ranni the Wisp.
  22. I really like the way you use traditional mediums and convey depth, light and shadow through clever coloring. Especially in that Lotus piece, your metals look beveled and you nailed that gold glossy feel. I wish I could see your take on some duviri inspired pieces. For example your take on a duviri mask like some artists did here: https://www.warframe.com/news/craft-your-very-own-customizable-duviri-paradox-mask Or whatever you feel inspiration from. Try to sketch a 1999 enemy unit or your very own original character, it's not unheard of from DE to take fan designs ;)
  23. It's your second option. It's a flat electricity damage added on top of your total output. It does not benefit from your mods nor does it combine with other elements, it will always be electricity damage. The passive can be discharged with volt's abilities too and only one instance of it will occur per passive discharge. However, like previously stated, critical damage, melee combo counters and sniper combo counters will include this damage in it's calculations and so will enemy defenses and vulnerabilities. It's not too important since 1000 damage it's nothing significant except for fishing!!
