Any way of actually getting a reply to a support ticket?

Question

(I am not actually sure if this is the right forum, but there seems to be no better suitable..)

So long story short, a friend of mine lost his original email account (the one he used to log into warframe when he signed up first), and now he can't access it anymore, means he can't get the 2-factor authenticator to work and can't trade.
He can't just change to his new email address either because this step requires access to his first (which he doesn't have anymore, I can't remember the details, and there's no way he can recover it).😒

He has already submitted 3 help support tickets but still has no reply at all.

Does anyone know of a way to actually get help with this sort of account issue?

Or is it normal to wait for months???

Unfortunately he's very busy with work atm so I am the one asking.

Usually there is always a way to get old emails back. I was able to after i stopped using one for about 5+ years. You will need to verify a few things with the old email provider. Well this was my experience. Unless he made a random account that he didnt care to ever use and remember then rip. Best of luck

Considering that this game is free to play and probably 20% players do pay to support DE, there won’t be enough staff to deal with issues like these. It’s better to wait a bit. Most issues seem to be answered and processed in few weeks. I recommend all to support DE financially so there can more stuff to handle such rare issues quickly. If it’s free and players don’t support DE, expect longer wait.

From reading other players replies to support tickets delays I gather that each time you resubmit a ticket for the same issue the support system "deletes" the previously submitted ticket and makes the newly submitted ticket the only ticket being tracked / worked on by DE. So part of the delay may be the "He has already submitted 3 help support tickets but still has no reply at all."

DE support is a very busy place so all he can do is wait.

Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

He can write an answer to his first ticket, that's fine. Writing multiple tickets for the same issue gets him a far longer waiting time. And not just him, everyone else as well.
So your friend is part of the problem why some tickets have to wait ages before getting answered.

He also has to prove that said account is his. Support won't just change the email address of a random account, just because someone got the login information to a random account.
