Grendel missions definelly needs to be nerfed

It's next to impossible to actually beat those missions without huge dose of luck. Not only missions are high levels (or at least only defence one) but also we cannot use our mods? C'mon DE. Without mods our warframes and weapons are worse than a wet noodle, not to mention that level 45 corpus crewman can one-shot entire squad with single grenade which deals insane damage with this limitation. People say that those missions are requied to be completed by a squad, the problem is - nobody wants to join those missions, and not everybody has friends who play Warframe which could help in the mission, which leaves some people with no other option than doing it solo. Honestly, it feels like DE wants to force us to buy Grendel for plat by creating such ridiculous missions. Either allow us use mods, or decrease difficulty to at least 10-15 each.

Somehow DE didnt see this coming. The survival can be solo'd no problem but the others are not exactly solo friendly.

You really only need 2 people (trinity and frost for excavation, trinity and revenant for defense) to do them but I very rarely see people asking for the missions either in discords or in recruit chat.

Use Mirage and keep spamming Hall of Mirror (1) and keep moving. Her holographic copies will also draw aggro, handy for the excavation and defense mission.  Majority of enemy attacks will miss you and your damage output is increased a bit. When you have the energy to spare, use her Eclipse (3) to double your damage in the light and reduced enemy damage in the shadows.

Since the enemy is Corpus, equip weapons with innate toxin damage to kill them quicker, bypassing their shields

I recommend Paracyst because you need something that fires quickly enough to destroy nullifier bubbles.
Acrid for secondary and Dual Ichor for melee.

Edit: Augment mods still work. You really want Hall of Malevolence equipped for even more damage.

Octavia can solo through the power of the Mallet. 

Edit: That being said I did the defense in a group because that one is kinda long and on a map that AI love to break and get lost on so it gets really long and I did NOT want to do it twice.

Those missions are fine, one of the few places in the entire game, where cooperation and team play is actually needed. Furthermore, it shows that we do not need lvl 200 enemies to provide challange and showcases how insanly power creeped players are.
The only bummer is to find a squad.
