This isnt feasable. Its not just loot issues. Affinity would need changing, combo counter buildup, plus abilities / weapons / mods that are effected by nearby enemies would need to be altered.

This would also increase the strain on lower end machines.

Sponge Path is not the answer. some of us have been saying till we are blue in the face that DE should increase the spawn of enemies. survival in normal still suffers sometimes broken spawn especially on corpus ship revamp.

people should not assume that everyone enjoys bullet sponge or having their options limited arbitrarily by fake difficulty.

How is being forced into a nuke-AoE meta more fun?

Steel Path already has the increased spawn rates that makes the speed at which you can run Excavations and Survivals almost tolerable solo, but life support in Survival is nerfed, so that didn't improve anything.

Bandaids like 'Marked for Death' might make this stupid horde meta bearable for off-meta options, but i don't see how adding more trash mobs would improve the game.

Adding an option for this would be fine, but we already have it with Steel Path and it's not fun, just tedious, restrictive and sometimes time consuming, though it's still more interesting than the regular Star chart and some Sorties.
