TheThreadWeaver
The Unbeatable Argument is... "People like to argue." If you agree, then you are accepting my point as true. If you disagree, you are arguing with me and proving my point. Use this to confound your friends and cause robots to blow out their logic circuits. honeybadger
Not quite true. If I disagree with you, its because your premise is incorrect. However, you cannot argue with the statement "SOME people like to argue." By leaving it as "people," you are generalizing and that is not a generalizable statement. Proven by one example to the contrary. One example: I do no like to argue. There, your premise is technically incorrect and there is no argument over it. I don't actually like to argue, but I'm not afraid to do so when my 'opponent' is incorrect. Such is the case with this thread. ...and someone already explained in more detail. HAYABU5A
one problem: disagreeing is not considered arguing to argue u need a point of contention with which to conflict over argue ˈɑːgjuː/ verb 1. give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one's view. I really wanted to agree with you? because I'm such a kind-hearted person and also... free will. -I am 1 person not a people. -I don't like to argue but I disagree out of principle -I would like to agree with you if I believed your point was valid -I am not arguing because I just ended the argument.. because I am badass. If you disagree to the above then you prove your own point. wait.. *mind explodes*
