I don’t see much people talking about this but it is great for primers such as nukor and epitaph as the extra multishot is nice to hope to proc more status. With amalgam barrel diffusion, lethal torrent, and this new arcane your multishot go from 2.7 to 3.9. When it comes to disruption or any other missions with low spawns, dexterity will be better if you running a melee setup.

You kind of answered your own question ,

It's great on status primers , 

But you have to either have innate electric or mod in electric to be effective ,

So the number of weapons that work well with it is limited , or you need to have a specific frame loadout that gives you electric damage on attacks.

and while electric is good , it's not good enough to replace heat in most instances ,

similar issue exists with frostbite

yeah that’s a pretty solid reason for it never to be used.

For primers it might work, but for everything else it isnt worth giving up Primed Heated Charge. Conjunction Voltage would have been a nice shotgun arcane though. And even for primers you should get enough multishot with galv mod stacks and lethal torrent.

Don't you need electric procs to activate it? which means giving up heat mod on your primer and you lose all stacks at once when timer runs out, hard pass.

heat and electric have roughly the same stun time so it is not a big deal to drop a heat mod. The 50% armor strip from heat is not work it if you mainly use bleed proc to kill anyway. With more multishot you are more likely to proc every status on epitaph in one shot. But it does not matter now as the new secondary arcane make this arcane irrelevant.
