I dont think anyones getting what I'm saying about Tau. It's the Sentient Homeworld now and has been for centuries. They have defenses, Planetary Defenses.

As I pointed out to another in here, the last time Ships were sent to Tau (Mag Prime Codex) they all got obliterated before they could even land. Its all there in the Soldiers recount of the mission from what looks like a Diary/Log that was recovered somehow. As soon as they arrived the ships were torn apart.

We also know from more recent lore entries that arent probably retconned that something HAPPENED in the sentient homeworld that caused problems. Hunnhow was part of the old war and stayed in the origin system, but erra and natah were born during the old war when the pain was its height. The old war festered in tau and eventually some were driven out of the tau system and died along the way - Thats how we got archons; Erra gave Ballas sentient cores that could be used to create amalgams of extremely powerful sentients. Its also how we got orniphexes and sentient warships in the origin system.

Lets also not forget that the entire sentient story is one of stagnation; Traveling through the void they lost their ability to procreate. During the war with the orokin they were decimated, and cannot replenish their supply of sentients without outside help. Its entirely reasonable that Tau has become touchable since the new war, where sentients CAME FROM TAU and lost some of the biggest forces they had available.
Remember, Natah came from tau. Her sentient body was provided by erra, who also came form tau, since huynnhow was the only major sentient still in the origin system.

Once again makes me wonder how they'll explain giving us Protea Prime, since Protea already is the Orokin-era original.

"Prime" warframes were the show models, they always have been. Not all warframes needed to be shown off to investors.
Some warframes also earned their primes, implying that becoming a "prime" frame had a process that can be replicated... And that the relics we pull them from are designs from a reality in which those warframes DID earn their prime.

That's not the case at all. The Archon's are just Sentients that fell in combat during the Old War, nothing drove them out. And Erra didn't work with Ballas until now, Orphix and Murex are just Sentient units that also made the jump to the Origin System.

I honestly have no idea what the message that was trying to be conveyed by this is? And to be clear, I'm not feigning ignorance to give the perception that the post makes no sense, I just genuinely think it wasn't proofread before being posted and that's why it makes no sense, along with incorrect details. Examples being:

1) I have no idea what "when the pain was it's height" was supposed to be. It can't be that, that's not a saying.

2) Where is there info saying The Old War "festered in Tau"?

3) That's.....not how we got Archons. Just like how the Prime Warframes are based on the Original first Warframes, The Sentient Beasts once existed as Peacekeepers on Tau, created by Hunhow and Praghasa. Nobody was "driven out" of Tau at all. The Sentient Beasts were part of the Old War, and died during it. Archons to the Sentient Beasts are like Our Primes to the Original Prime Warframes. Copies. These current Archons were created by Erra mixing Dead Warframe parts with Dead Sentients, with no involvement from Ballas.

4) What's an Orniphexes? Do you mean the Orphix? They're smaller versions of the Condrix, used to ship lesser Sentients to different areas, and have nothing to do with Archons or anything else you were talking about previously.

5) There's genuinely nothing at all that says the sentients were "decimated". Pretty much the opposite actually. They went so far as to wipe out every single city on Earth except the one closest to the Tower of Unum. We now call it Cetus. The Sentients were held back from continuing their destruction and then Hunhow planted Natah to destroy the rest from within.

6) There's nothing saying the Sentients can't "replenish their supply" either. The Void is poison to them, but the Void is the only way to get from Tau to the Origin System and vice versa. The Sentients were sent to Tau before they were ever Sentient. That 1 journey alone should have robbed them of the ability to procreate/replenish, yet Natah and Erra exist, Hunhows children. Sentients obviously aren't human, which means placing an idea like "procreation" on them is folly. If Natah and Erra exist, they've already found a way around the problem.

7) There's nothing to state the Sentients lost their biggest forces. To attack a star system obviously seems like a huge undertaking, to us. But to us stepping on an ant isn't murder, neither does it take every bit of effort we have. Your presumption about the sentient forces is based on nothing.

Correction to this bit: When the Sentients were sent off to Tau, they were carried there by a grand mothership. That mothership sacrificed itself to protect the Sentients from the Void's influence and effects. The entire rest of the Sentient race arrived in Tau unharmed, thanks to that sacrifice.

The whole losing the ability to procreate and whatnot happened when the Sentients came back to Origin. The Sentients that remain in Tau, as far as we know, are still perfectly healthy and doing whatever they're doing out there.

It's the other way around, on both accounts. The Sentients didn't travel through the Void to get to Tau, they slow boated there, building a Solar Rail along the way. They only traveled through the Void to get back to the Origin System, which is when Praghasa protected the rest of them so they only went sterile instead of straight up dying. The only means they have of gaining that ability to procreate more Sentients as individuals (Hunhow, Natah, Plains Sentient) is to take the Temple Kuva from the Unum, a secret that died with the Plains Sentient.

I've genuinely never seen that explained ingame. Where is it or which text/dialogue explains it?
