Way to disable specific buffs from teammates.

Sometimes buffs from teammates interfere with players.

Players have a bunch of different builds for different tasks and for their playing style, and some buffs of other players can break builds or prevent them from playing as they want with their build. For example, Saryn venom dose, Grendel nourish or any other elemental damage buffs can spoil your weapon build by making other unwelcome elements or just maxing chance of applying unwanted status effect. Also Volt speed can ruin the game for Titania or Gauss turning their gameplay into a complete mess of collisions with walls, doors or falling off the map. But personally I would really like to have the option not to receive disometric guard from Qorvex because this ability covers a third of my screen and I can't see anything.

We already have the option to look at the effects on the player in the pause menu, and I suggest adding a feature that by clicking on an ally’s buff, you can disable the possibility of receiving this buff, make an on/off switch for receiving this effect from teammates, so that we can re-enable the ability to receive it if necessary.

That's a very good idea. I often use Limbo's Banish for defense missions where the defense target is not static. At the same time, I realize that if a player comes within range of the ability, Banish will trigger on them as well, which will only hinder them. Yes, there is a way to remove this ability from yourself, but it would be nice to have a function to block this buff, instead of having to manually remove buff every time you don't need it.

DE, please realize this 🙏

In a hypothetical, this would significantly improve my multiplayer experience.

There is precedent in the game for allowing a player to willing deactivate buffs via the backflipping movement and Volt's Speed ability. It's only one, but it's there.

I'm still pushing for this sort of QoL upgrade. It's long overdue. Constant backflipping is an outdated joke mechanic, always interrupts gameplay, and is pointless if I can't cancel any other buffs that way either.

I concur that other players' buffs such as volt or wisp speed modifiers are often unwelcome, while health and energy regen (example vazarin, zenurik, health and status buffs) fare fine.

A simple UI menu to toggle the various buffs to always or never apply within the options menu would be amazing. This could be similar to the default/invert tap or hold abilities menu. In this way a player could adopt a global series of settings to apply to their entire profile or this may be extended to individually apply to all owned Warframes.

I know the UI is soon getting a facelift and simplification. I hope for this and some other changes sooner than later.

Ooh, ooh, I know this one!

While I completely sympathise with the desire for this option, DE have repeated on multiple occasions as far back as the great Volt Speed Opt Out experiments, that they don't want to implement this as an option.

That's it. That's the report. That's the current answer until DE release another statement on the matter. And asking on the Forums for them to bring it up again has not worked at all.

This has been your PSA on the topic, as raised.

DE could make elemental buffs function like the Wyrmling's Aid decree from Duviri.
The buffs then would do their own damage instances with their own status chance (or a status chance that matches your weapon's status chance).
This way the co-op parts of the buffs would still incentivize co-op play in an actually helpful way without interfering others' builds.

and again, and again, and again. Players complain about buffs they don't want to get. It started with Volt`s speed and now DE want to nerf Dante.

DE is long overdue to answer the question what is easier to implement: every time you add an ability that will buff other players, they will change the effect of many mods, mechanics, other abilities, or simply make switchable buffs in the menu?
