Theseus_Tidewalker Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 I've been trying to update since update 10 with updates gone by, if my launcher needed to be closed fo some reason or the otherthe progress would be saved thats not happening now what s happening is that every time someone closes the launcher its restarts from 0.00 so i tried loading it over night so that no one would close it but the next day all the progress had been undone IDK if a modification was made to the launcher or if there's something i need to do but its killing me. Use out of steam warframe launcher. program files/steam/steamapps/common/warframe/tools 3. Uncheck 64 bit mode in the launcher settings... This worked for me. Hope this helps someone. Thanks bude I tried them all, even the "Run as admin" for some reason it just either freezes, or just sends me to the fail screen. Im always open for new ideas, anyone? I had a problem signing in closer to the one you provided a solution to. Normally I would have just given up and walked away but I guess I am still new to this forum. I was told of its reliability and of the wisdom I could find here. The tech from the 'Microsoft Store' suggested I describe the problem here as an alternative to bringing the system in for a "spa special". I didn't think I'd find bug agents here. It's been like this since 12.5, downloaded every update at 1kbps speed.(Yes, i friggin' waited it out somehow it worked tho.) But now U12.5.3, waiting doesn't seem to work at all. It's been hours. Notes IE won't display warframe.com and has certificate error everytime I try. -Did the suggestions above. Nothing worked. I checked the cert.when using g.chrome and it's using DigiCert High Assurance CA-3, but when I tried in IE it uses an outdated Thawte SSL CA cert.. -Tried importing, still no avail. -Pretty sure IE has something to do with this. As for checking new content... DNS problem maybe? Try to ping to content.warframe.com & warframe.com first. Maybe your ISP's DNS' currently having a trouble connecting to Warframe servers. Using WinXP so IE 8 is the latest I can. Everything from browser to security updates are installed even root. I pinged content.warframe and it's fine, warframe.com got time-outs. But since it was your first post here; Mods that adds +Status Chance (like Rifle Aptitude in your case) are based on your original weapon's stat (multiplicative, not additive). For example, If you plug a Rank 3 Rifle Aptitude (that adds +10% Status Chance) to Grakata, it would resulted 20%+(10%*20%) = 22% Total Status Chance. Until the update/updates this morning, they all happened though some failed once or twice before working. Honestly it's not much of a problem to just close Game Booster and update it, then run it with GB afterwards. So no rush fixing it. The proxy on it is weird and I don't even know if I have it enabled, anyway. Aside from that minor note, I'd just like to say YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. No joke, this is by far the best update system I've seen out of any game I've ever played. It's extremely efficient, quiet, and fast. rkofansify Posted March 27, 2014 Share Posted March 27, 2014 does the verifying download cache eternally bug count cause for the past 3 days It has been slow in updating, it fails to update even though I give a break or restart, and when I pressed verify in the options it stays in verifying download cache and whenever I restart the launcher or launch the launcher it always goes straight to verifying download cache....... please either fix this or send a troubleshooting thread ASAP cause I want to get the new freebies.
