Ethers Need Nerf Now

Now, which Ether weapon:

 

1) Ether Reaper?

2) Ether Sword?

3) Dual Ether Swords?

4) Ether Daggers?

 

Or am I giving you a heart attack with all the OP Ether weapons?

 

Edit: I feel bad ;-;

 

But, it's kinda silly to want to nerf a weapon because it killed you quickly.

"So guys I was pvping in a co-op focused game and died, the weapon that killed me needs to be nerfed to ruin any chance it has at working in the co-op experience it was intended for" thats like saying we should balance the guns in borderlands for pvp while were at it.

I'd say "I wish I brought my camera for this" but everyone so far has said what I was thinking so I'll just say "the Ethers are fine as is" and let it be.

 

PS I wield Dual Ethers almost all of the time... SPIN2WIN, YO!

As I recall DE have already said that this weapons will not be balanced for PvP as that is a side show to the true game which is PvE.

 

Also did not ethers get a nerf with 2.0 anyway by losing armor ignore and getting nothing to replace it?

are ether weapons powerful in pvp??? im confused...

havent lost to ether weapon users since 2.0

 

(using Dual Ichor / Scoliac myself)

 

Dual Ethers still are, even after they lost their innate armor-ignore. One simply does slide spin attacks and essentially strip all shields and health in one go from your target (partly because the hitbox for this move seems to have a very large range even if you are only using daggers of some sort and the only way to avoid it is seemingly SuperJump or your own slide attack...).

I hope somebody here remembers the good old days where some people were very insistent (pre damage 2.0, pre-galatine, pre-soma, etcetc) that the Ether Swords were very, very, incredibly OP because 'omg 3x damage to light infested and armor ignore?!?!?!?!'.
