Poor hinting jokes aside, they could probably use a couple more moderators, but players don't have to be moderators to handle a lot of things. You can still redirect people with questions to the proper information, and if someone's being a sod, there's a report button, stuff like that. I'm not assuming anything until we have an official statement, but seeing this continue for 16+ hours reminds me just how much most of the game industry really SUCKS at communicating with their communities. I hoped that DE had learned something from U13 being delayed and the controversy caused by the lack of official comments back then, but this is many times worse and every minute that passes without a proper explanation will further damage their reputation. Reasonable statements and sarcasm doesn't seem to work, and I suspect people will just start panicking like chickens with their heads cut off a bit later in the morning. I've been with this thread through the whole night (just not really feeling tired, plus I want to keep an eye on things). But I have to catch a bus in 4 hours which means I sort of need to leave in 3. So yeah, have to be heading off now. Thanks for the work you've put in. I agree, I'll keep playing this game happily until there's confirmation or denial of this unsettling rumor, however I will totally admit to being extremely disturbed by this news, and it will most certainly dissuade me from buying the founders pack that I was going to after U14. Well its.. madness You have to realize that when something a person likes gets threaten to become something worse, they panic, even without full knowledge of what is happening with the current event. And instead quietely not saying anything, and wait to see what happens ( or calmly post their "disgust" of said event ), they yell loud and clear to be heard, because its the bloody Internet, to be heard you have to be loud.
