Different childhood I guess, all the liquid medicine i grew up taking is the berry kind, and after that, I just don't like drinking/eating anything that resembles that sourly painful, bitter taste, even wine. Don't get me wrong, I like sour stuff as well, like sweet and sour pork, and lemon. It's just certain mix of sour that gets me, like specific type of vinegar, fake berry flavor and wine.
