-dicht.ThanksFrost-
This is to remind people to remove their batteries if they play @ home with their gaming laptops or if they have access to a wall outlet. Removing batteries can drastically reduce temperatures for me it went down by 20 degrees! Give it a shot and see if it works!
VirtualJunky
Always a good tip that people forget about. It also saves battery life, since it uses direct power instead of endlessly charging and draining the battery.

Brynslustafir
How? Most laptops have a simple lock you push to one side and the battery detatches.

egregiousRac
Like i can with this MacBook... thank's for the headsup though You can with a MacBook. In fact, they even remove themselves sometimes! Every once in a while I get handed a Macbook to fix with the back plate bent out of shape. The battery puffs up like a balloon and rips the case apart. Anatolius
Ill make sure to do this when I leave in a bit thanks for the tip! I have heat problems :C I normally use a tiny fan, which is quite enough but anything helps
RobWasHere
Its only for laps with poor energy systems. If lap cutoff battery energy when fully charged and wired, battery has nothing with temperature.

TheRealBadWolf
Another tip is to store your battery in a air tight ziplock bag in the fridge. Make sure its fully charged. First 2 years of my laptops life I never used the battery. So when my friends battery couldnt hold many seconds, I started using mine and creamed out an hour of it. I never told him my battery werent used for those years. He still wonders how the frell my battery could be so good ;)) Ps. It was a dual core intel with a state of the art nvidia card and 19.4inch screen, before someone says "only an hour?" :D Edited March 19, 2015 by TheRealBadWolf
Institute-Marksman
I never really have heat issues, but that's because it's barely a year old.Still removed the battery, though. Now I just have to remember to put the battery back in, and not just mindlessly unplug it..
