Hope for the future.

Dreams always crushed.

But when the new Parkour 2.0 that was shown yesterday gets shipped, I might actually play as much as when I first started.

Experiment with new builds, try to play in creative ways. I tried a savage silence Banshee build and ended up having lots of fun with it. Next on my list is a melee-specialist muzzle flash Mesa.

Think of something you want, acquire it, then play with it for a while. Then on to the next thing. Even if it's content you already have, the numerous combinations ensures that there is probably a new way to play than what you have done before.

That's how I have fun at least.

I find the game is really well made for periodic bouts of absolutely insane addiction.

I never play Warframe for more than a few weeks at a time, with breaks of several weeks or months inbetween - but at the same time, I don't anticipate that Warframe will ever leave my hard drive.  Each time I come back there's something new to be inspired about for a while.  Then it gets boring after a while and my interest drops off a cliff.

Then, maybe a few weeks later, or a month or two, I remember the fun of being a space ninja, and it's Warframe 24/7 and I can't think about anything else for another couple of weeks.

The thing that keeps me playing is that I need to farm to do the things I want to do. Mostly personal projects of weapons that I found fun or interesting but not viable in the end game.  (panthera, twin vipers, prisma gorgon are a few of my future projects) I also have great clan that puts on events and helps each other so if I'm not farming for myself or an event, I am helping someone else farm for what they need.

What drives me is my objective of collecting every warframe, every weapon in the game.

I have all warframes at max rank now. So, the weapons and mods is what makes me play the most. The excitement of what the Void Trader will bring next week as well... And the wait for new events.

I am also scanning the enemies now, that gives me an extra juice of pleasure. But probably only because I need the information /screenshots/ for the fansite warframeprime.com.

I often also need:

- Credits.

- Mutagem, Fieldron, Injectors to build dojo weapons.

- Lots of credits...

- Fusion Cores to max all mods.

- Rank up syndicates to get their exclusive weapons and augment mods.

- Rank up conclave to get the pvp mods...

There is a lot to do in this game!

=D

The lore/possibility of new lore.

this, i always come back when simaris has new targets, or the current target is almost done and needs a push, also any new missions types, enemies etc. weapons are sort of secondary at this point i just want to see the universe expanded

There's a LOT of people that stream this game on twitch. I watch these streams and if they're on PS4 I'll often times help them attain something in game or give them a random prime part that's not dropping for them to make their content more interesting. A lot of people that don't play warframe are interested in playing warframe. These streams are what they use to gauge their interest of the game. When I watch streams it makes me want to play more myself.

There's also events. I like adding trophies to our dojo temple of honor when we can get them.

I will say just leveling up weapons for mastery has gotten incredibly old. I'm MR 16 and see zero reason for me to continue leveling up when there's no real incentive to do so as has been discussed here ad nauseum. But I still enjoy the game and the updates keep me interested to keep logging in and playing.

Spy 2.0 Missions.

The possibility of new Lore, ala oldschool single player games. Go on to progress in the story.

The actual PVP is **** imbalanced, oneshot spams, cheese waeapons abusing, skill abusing, tanky frames abusing, a lot of egokids around, so nothing positive.

For awhile I was just logging on to see what rewards were up for invasions, but recently my clan has become more active since we got 6 (that was fast) new players and now, I spend most of my time taking them around the Void, helping them clear the Starchart and supporting them while they run boss missions for new 'frames.

I love this game, but I fear that I may be approaching that point where I don't have the motivation to play anymore.

It's no fault of the game, I have many hours and enjoy most aspects- but sooner or later things must come to an end.

I may start pvp to reignite that spark though. Hopefully the new start chart helps give purpose too. If playing missions felt like competing mini events, it may be more motivating to play just for the sake of playing.
