I was surprised that that he offered only old things, dissapointed as well.   Trader is pointless if all he offers is recycled mods and deco.

Please... the void trader need to be fair for NEW players or those without the mods/stuff you guys already has.

welp he's out in 2 days and guess what, there still gonna be a lot of ppl who miss him, and they still gonna buy thoe stuff from trade. Baro is not for catch up, cuz there always gonna be someone sho missed something, he is for NEW stuff, for veterans.

we learned a few visits ago that by new de meant new to his roster, not just legitimately new items. baro could really bring anything at this point at stay true to that message, he could bring ammo drums and still count as bringing something "new".

Actually, it literally was advertised as a veteran system by DE in the devstreams. They said it was for veterans to sink their ducats into.

The fact youre a newbie farming ducats to get the stuff is irrelevant, the system was not made for that purpose. That's the point. It is not a "catch up because you missed stuff" system. The void trader is accessable to all(except when MR locked on relays), yes, but no he's not meant for all, he was specifically added with veterans in mind.

Just because they said it was for veterans doesn't mean that they intended it to only be for veterans. You'd think if they did then Baro would only appear in the MR8 relay but that's not the case.

The definition of veteran is a little hazy too. By the time I was MR6 I had a good stash of prime parts spare but to your mind no doubt an MR6 has barely even started. Point being that compared to someone completing the tutorial an MR6 could be considered a veteran.

Baro Ki Teer is there to funnel in event items, powerful versions of items, and cosmetics.  He was not promised to bring something completely new to Warframe every two weeks.  Those that say that was the promise are twisting words.

 

Frankly, people need to stop acting like spoiled children for two God d*** seconds and recognize that there ARE people that have never had the chance for mods like Fanged Fusillade outside of paying sellers their exhorbitant asking prices.  This game isn't built for people that have everything.  It's built for those in the middling area.  The people that have everything play too hard for DE to keep up with.

I'm sure that people wouldn't be having the same reaction if he had been selling a Primed Chamber. Even though even that wouldn't be "new."

That said, I STILL very strongly feel that the old event items should just be rotated into the actual drop tables, and not DE's Wild Resource Ride ducat sink table.

How hard can it be to code in a primed version of an existing mod? Regardless of how bad it is or will be.

ALL event mods should be obtainable through the game, like dual stats mods and spy(and even there De fails-coz baro bring elektro ones....like why wtf). There's literally no point of baro to bring those event mods outside of getting DE time to rethink prime mods sistem and power creep, he must bring only prime mods. Thats what the other 3 items he brings are for, he recycles 3, and has a new 1. Serious? People are arguing that its not just for vets. Obviously, he brings 3 recycles every time, thats for you casuals. The one new item is for us who have everything already. Is this really a difficult concept?

Well Fanged Fusillade is a "New Baro Item" and Primed Ravage is the first time it's been offered a second time. And the Prisma Leg guards are New to me, personally.... =)
