Can someone tell me what are the current top tier Secondaries/Melees?

This one's highly subjective, I feel, but the general consensus (at least from clanmates I talk to), the best secondaries are:

1. Vaykor Marelok

2. Lex Prime

3. Twin Grakatas

As for melee:

1. Fragor Prime

2. Galatine Prime

3. Scindo Prime

Or, if you don't like 2 handers

1. Broken War

2. Dakra Prime

3. Prisma Skana (w/ Purity mod)

A Tier 1 weapon is generally one that performs at all levels of play against armor or otherwise and especially well beyond Sorties, even into quad levels. They're also weapons that out perform others under meta circumstances.

For Secondaries Tier 1 is a rather small list.

Staticor, Akstiletto Prime,  Vaykor Marelok, Lex Prime

Melee has a bigger list:

Galantine Prime, Atterax, Dark Split Swords, Prisma Dual Cleavers, Broken War, Rakta Dark Dagger, Nikana Prime, Tipedo,

Honestly this list is stretching it. There's prolly a total of 10 weapons in the entire game that qualify as Tier 1.

In no particular order

Secondaries :

  • Lex prime
  • vaykor marelok
  • twin grakata
  • sonicor (but mainly because of the heavy CC)

Melee :

  • Nikana prime
  • Galatine prime (used to be scindo instead of galatine, they're the exact same weapon but galatine is better in everything... (powercreep powaaa) )
  • I believe dual ichor / zoren have a place as "top tier" weapons
  • I guess boltace telos can be considered top tier if you have maiming strike & primed reach
  • broken war // prisma skana

I would add "fragor prime" if the hammer stances weren't so horribly bad.

Akstiletto Prime is an insane status and crit machine.

Pox is quite literally the best status cannon ingame. I haven't seen anything melt armour as fast as the Pox since before the Corrosive Proc nerf.

And the Kulstar is a miniature nuke launcher. Especially with multishot. It just tears through everything (including yourself though. Watch out).

For melee, I'd go with

  • Dark Split Sword in dual sword form
  • Destreza
  • literally any other melee that can utilise Blood Rush and Body Count

Dark Split Sword are like the Dual Ichor except they're much better. Sure they have a 2.5x crit damage multiplier compared to the Ichor's x3 but they have almost twice as much damage and are slightly faster.

Destreza's crit slash procs are truly a sight to be seen. Fantastic weapon.

Any other crit melee too tbh. Praise be to the Red Crit.

The Destreza, really? interesting...I never gave it much of a thought, thinking it was more of a flashy Puncture weapon with Vulpine Mask.

The first two hits, quick melee or not, deal guaranteed slash procs. Slash procs which can crit. Hard.

No I don't.

I love the cleaving whirlwind, crushing ruin is garbage.

It doesn't hit a lot, most hit don't connect, and it doesn't have any interesting combo multiplier. (I mean, compared with the 400% x3 x7)

War (sadly beaten up by Galatine Prime but still a good replacement for it if you don't have the needed Mastery Rank)

The only point of tempo royale to me is low/mid level enemies that get easily killed by the default E double hit. For the rest, it's poop.

This alt fire is mostly "let me throw away munitions"

Well, I maxed my Azima with just 1 Forma and get plenty of ammo (yeah,, I got additional ammo mods but the Azima itself still does lots of damage) so I don't see a problem with the ammo. I've been running sorties with it and if there was a horde of enemies, just throw the mag at them and they are all dead immediately. Can't understand the hate...

EDIT: I didn't try it out but I think that it works really well with Mirage's clones.

It's not hate, it's rather "they could've done something so great but they didn't"

If only the shots weren't completely random.
