THE SUN The Leader, the Indomitable. "No woman shall ever hold the strength of a man, let alone a God." Thus was the lie she was told, and thus her fate lay at the stake. She faced judgement at the hands of a cruel and unforgiving executioner for the crime of stealing the power of Ra, but the king spared her life. He saw not a heretic but Ra upon her head - the eternal beauty of their beloved Sun God dancing freely. He chose to give her his might for a reason, and the king took her into his fold. Raised with the strongest soldiers and carefully groomed with the guidance of the elders, the Sun stands as a pariah against all that wish ill-intent to the king. "Be not afraid to charge forth, my fellow warriors, for the light shall guide your path. Let them burn their eyes when they so foolishly try to defy Ra." THE ASSASSIN The Silent, the Patient. "It is whom does not speak that strikes fear in the heart of men." They deemed her unfit for marriage, unfit for existing. Yet none of them dared raise a finger to her. Soundless from her lips, but sonorous from the alien artifact strapped to her arm. A woman incapable of vocalizing her thoughts and feelings. A woman with the power to remove all sound at the snap of her fingers. A woman strong enough to send armies to their knees with a singular, invisible pulse. A woman smart enough to find all the weaknesses in an enemy's armor, no matter how well equipped. The king spared her from cruelty of the people and raised a deadly, invisible force to strike terror in his opponents. "Fear not the man with the loudest voice, but the woman who utters naught. For if you encounter Silence, your life is surely forfeit from the king's Assassin." THE CLERIC The Undying, the Heartbeat. If Ra sits upon the Sun's head, then it is in the Cleric that rests his heart. Ripping life from the healthy, yet curing the terminally ill. Anyone with the power to determine who lives and dies transcends the Gods themselves, yet such powers belong to a stalwart, stubborn woman. Goals unclear and purpose unknown, she becomes a beacon of hope when Ra's light dims. To stand on the same level as Ra was to be a Goddess herself. "Watch your next breath. It may or may not be your last." THE CALVARY The Wild, the Vagabond. A steady hand strikes enemies heavily, and a careful eye will never miss. But when a woman is capable of both while blind, few stand on her warpath of destruction as she seeks vengeance on the one who stole her sight. The king proposed an offer she could not refuse - join his Guard and she shall find closure to her journey. A cruel fate it was when she realized the one she sought to kill was the one with Ra upon her head. Clarity struck her before the last bullet took the Sun away from the king, for without the Sun there would be no Guard. Without the Sun, there would be no Cleric. Without the Cleric, there would be no hope. And the king had already fulfilled his promise, leaving her with no other direction except for the Sun. "The Sun hath given me strength, for in my vengeance I found wisdom. Forgiveness is not weakness, but strength." THE FORCE The Unpredictable, the Wildcard. A woman who's origins are even murkier than that of the universe. Master of metal and refined in the dancing of blades, she remains largely beyond the control even of the king.
