Why am I not getting more XP for more kills?

If i'm doing 60% more kills why am I not getting 122,000 XP instead of 76,000 XP?

XP or affinity isn't just about how many kills you get, there are other factors. Stealth kills, Bonus affinity buffs, and other tenno in the vicinity to name a few. There's more to it than kill count.

I wanna know your math, why are you expecting 122,000 xp? That aside...yeah lots of factors. Kills made by team mates, if in affinity range, will give you XP. Stealth kills(Banshee is capable of doing this with silence) also give more XP. Also keep in mind team mate kill XP is divided among your warframe and weapons. 25% for each. Less weapons equipped, more XP to your frame and weapons.

if u wish insane xp   build equinox for max range no narrow minded... max efficancy and sleep augment with   orthos prime and primed reach... but u need to do it solo   its fantastic way to lvl up stuff and farm focus

If you want to level a melee fast, take a Valkyr (with the augment for her 3), a Vauban or a Nidus any built for high range negative str and just use their ability to group enemies together then melee the enemies.

I use Stofler since its pretty open allowing enemies to get grouped up more easily.

1) Stop using soundquake.
2) Your teammates can do kills too.
3) There are modifiers to kill exp.
4) Use naramon melee exp bonus.
5) And stop using soundquake.

While stop using soundquake ? Because all exp is only earned by the Warframe.
Your other items don't get exp.

If you want a crap load of exp for focus, use stealth naramon melee builds, you will get far more exp for far less kills.

So you are asking why in the 1st game you get 82k exp on your nikana prime which you used to do 2 melee kills while in the second game you get 76k exp on your nikana prime which you used to do 5 melee kills?

That's simple. Cause you have absolutely no clue to how affinity works in the game.

- Kills with warframe abilities gives 100% exp to warframe

- Kills with weapons give 50% exp to warframe exp & 50% exp to weapon used.

- Kills by other players in affinity range gives distributed exp to your own warframe and weapons.

I'm not saying this system is perfect but it has worked pretty much this way since the start of the game and I'd assume you would have noticed it by now.

Unless you just bought your master founder account one month ago so...

normally people use frames to nuke the map to GIVE exp for OTHER players and affinity for them self . Use AOE weapons to get exp for yourself and others.

To answer this question others seem to not have so far:

 

If kills/damage directly translated to XP/affinity, no one would play any frame who doesn't directly do much damage, e.g. Trinity, Nyx, various tank frames.

Same goes for weaponry, everyone would just stick weapons that one shot everything like shotguns rather than lets say assault rifles or SMGs to prevent "kill stealing".

 

Besides, a player with amazing gear can literally stall the progress of countless newbies by camping on Earth and wiping out everything while dealing 99% of the damage.

So to avoid this DE was like let's make Warframe a GOOD Co-Op game.

You’re not getting XP because you need to use your weapons to level them up. If you don’t use them during a mission, they simply won’t gain any xp.

If you want to level a sword, maybe use the sword?

 

Or at least let your allies level it for you instead of sound quaking 90% of the spawn before they can get you any affinity.

And here we have another person that doesnt know how affinity works, the affinity on your melee weapon comes from:

- 50% of ur kills with the melee weapon in question and

- 75% from your teammates's affinity, since you have only one weapon equipped. it would be 37.5% with 2 and 25% with 3 weapons equipped.

- Also companion kills dont give you any affinity, if u are leveling dont equip a weapon on sentinels also dont use a pet.

In that kind of loadout you have on those screenshots not doing any kill at all yourself would have leveled that weapon from 0 to 30 thrice. Its never too late to learn how the game works.
