[Spoilers] Regarding the location of the Lotus?.

Spoiler

I'm still scratching my head at the end of the Apostasy Prologue where the Lotus asks, 'How long we've waited for this moment,' As though it's our fist time meeting at all.

If that's the case, then who the Hek was it that carried us into our transference seat aboard the orbiter and talked with us at the end of The Second Dream???

If you haven't made it to the Second Dream yet, you shouldn't even be reading this thread, and it's still best if you finish The Chains of Harrow before opening this spoiler.

What? It's fairly clear that poster has played TSD, they just described Lotus putting us in our Orbiter chair & chatting with us. What they're pointing out is that meeting face to face with Lotus after "waiting so long" is as redundant as redundant gets because she carried us to our chair already. We have already met, so it's not like we've been itching to see her face to face for the first time. Ergo, if the line was meant for us, it's wonky because it doesn't add up to the history we already have with her.

Orbiter is in the Void.

Lua was in the Void and yet, if this is where Lotus was...does this mean her area was sheltered/protected from the Void destroying her Sentient parts all this time as she is Natah as well?

Since she was in the Void, this is the reason she was able to talk to us as the Orbiter was in the Void as well and that is where our Void Demon sits until we Transfer out of our Frames.

This means that during the execution of Margilus she was either-

1) destroyed and completely gone (which we know now is not the case)

2) in the process of being destroyed and Ballas made a grab to get her out of the beam, hence the person he is talking to being on life support was Margilus and her sacrifice was to know who she was before she became the Lotus by combining with Natah to become the Lotus and guide the Void Demons.

3) to make a Sentient with intelligence, the Orokin would sentence those they found guilty to become them. Kind of what they did with Ordis into a Cephalon. This even makes sense as Hunhow was able to go into the cephalon space where we see can be accessed by Frames but not by Void Demons (I have not really attempted Transference in there...so if I am wrong, thanks for the correction). As we see in the Eidolons roaming the Plains, Sentient on Lua, and the Inspector Sentients, they do not seem to have personality...just doing what they are programmed to do. No dialect such as with Hunhow or Lotus, no words such as the Grinny or Corpus speak- just actions more akin to the Infested- do your work of your class.

What this may mean is- Margilus was being executed and during the execution, Ballas took her out and left another body in to be destroyed. Since she was in bad condition, she was being held on life support while Ballas did his other plans. Once a Sentient that had come back from the rails, Ballas found that it did not follow through with it's program to kill the Tenno. Seeing that this one had done this, he found a way to save Margilus and create a new protector for the Tenno. Telling Margilus he had a way of saving the Tenno and her, he created the Lotus and sent her out to guide the Tenno.

Years passed and Ballas finally gave the order to destroy the Orokin as he had made the Tenno seem a good idea and invested into areas where they could strike at the Orokin with no chance of survival for the rotting things. Of course, he had planned to escape this slaughter and come back when he saw it was right. Which is now.

No longer needing Margilus in the Natah Sentient, he frees her to be by his side again. This is the reason that Natah can now be seen as Lotus instead of the body image. She is more like Hunhow first interaction with us during the Quest Natah.

Or not....keep getting off track thanks to kids and fighting...lol

Have fun
