Orokin Ducats On The Ground, Just Laying There

So here's an idea. Non-endless void runs should feature hidden caches of Orokin Ducats.

 

Like syndicate missions, you find hidden caches of 1, 2 & 5 ducats in non-endless void missions. There would be 1-5 in T1, 2-6 in T2, 3-7 in T3 and 4-8 in T4.

I'm talking about the Exterminate, Capture, Sabotage missions.

 

It would give players a tangible reason to go exploring in void missions. You could even put them inside the hard to traverse parkour rooms, to encourage players to learn a little Mario skills.

 

Perhaps even have hidden door that are locked away or hard to find. The ducats should be at least as rare as the syndicate medallions, but harder to get. There should not be enough so that you can rely 100% off these drops, but should compete with the endless missions, both in terms of difficulty/time/effort to acquire and the amount you get over time.

i am all in for more exploration reasons

Currently those rooms provide only set of mods + some credits + Argon, which are not really useful.

For most of old or medium players those rooms are really useless. This will give a good reason to explore 'em and test your parkour skills....

...well. "Parkour" skills... if we hadn't Tipedo and this melee attack at air, this would have a point. Hoping at Parkour 2.0

That would really make me to look for this hidden cashes! Great idea, too bad DE will never go for it =(

If we won't stop thumbing up this topic and won't stop discussion - maybe they'll notice. We should believe.

Just don't make it so complicated.

We shouldn't get ducats directly! It is the trader's own current!

What we should get is collectibles which the void traders will trade it for ducats.

And we should be able to place the collectibles in our liset.

Oh well. We can got those Orokin Medallions.

We trade  Syndicate medallions for standing.

We trade those Orokin medallions for ducats. Still fine

Thats... actually a reeally damn good idea OP.

Might mean DE pays more attention to amping up void treasure rooms and the tile set in general.

I have noticed they keep adding some secrets at old rooms. I still seek for those Rare or Reinforced containers. My Codex is hungry.

Redundant. Considering Ducats have just been made, theres no reason timeline wise that the Orokin had ducats as well. Consistency is a must need. If anything (this WILL sound redundant, but keeps things consistent), make it possible to find like Orokin Rubedo Bars that are worth like 5 ducats each, and you have a higher chance of finding them the higher tiers you go.

How? Ducats are literally described as Orokin currency. So timeline wise it makes perfect sense and is a nice little way to give a boost to ducats for those that want it.

Also, how sit redundant? You're suggesting that ducats could still be a bonus, except changing it to a item tradable for ducats instead, effectively achieving the same purpose but with an extra step involved.

Unless you are using the term redundant out of context?

That's way too much and would unnecessarily add game elements that only serve to be transformed into something else.

 

No need to complicate things with orokin-whatever that can be traded into ducats when we already have ducats.

However, inconsistencies creates a disconnect in the game. We already get prime parts and have to trade them for ducats, so NO it would not add an unnecessary element. You would trade them out while you did the prime parts.

They would serve no other purpose than being traded into Ducats. Prime parts can be traded with other players and used to build Prime Weapons and Warframes. These medallions or whatever would only serve to become Ducats. The syndicate medallions are not like that, there's an upper limit to how much syndicate standing you can have, there's no upper limit to how many medallions you can have.
