  1. Not really, he also has no issues stripping enemies in general. Carrying corpro makes it so you have less to strip than usual but that's really it. If you're going to trash Tentacle Swarm, you could go Thermal Sunder! I was actually thinking of swapping out Plunder for Thermal Sunder and giving myself Archon Flow for easier energy gain. Imo it's really between Plunder and Tentacle Swarm to trash as Plunder's usefulness is inhibited by it being extremely user-unfriendly and Tentacle Swarm is nice but the effective range is trash. Thermal Sunder is all-in-all a really good choice because it scales super well with high range, and my personal build already sets me to 150% duration and 160% range
  2. I think the least they could do is take a feather out of other parts of the modern main story quests and give players a temporary Railjack and Necramech for The New War. Just give players a very basic version of both that is unmodded but has every basic function unlocked. We got a free temporary Paracesis, which I literally didn't even use during the quest chain, so why force players to wait on a Necramech? I understand that Necramechs have been made drastically easier to obtain and build now, but the point still stands that you are basically building an entire warframe to do TNW, and quests before TNW don't actually prepare you for Isolation Vaults to get Necramech parts/matrices anyways.
  3. So I got a new computer recently, and am experiencing a problem I have never had before... I can't access the map from my controller. Normally, I just press the "Share" button on my PS4 controller and it opens the map, but doesn't seem to anymore. There also seems to be an issue where I can't actually reassign any of the buttons for the map either, because when I do that it ignores what I changed it to and just does what the default keybinds are for a PS4 controller. How do I open the map on controller? Is there a fix for this? I know I can just hit M on my keyboard, but sometimes that isn't a quick motion that I can just do.
  4. Argo & Vel has an issue where most Sugatra will be placed way far off of the actual handle of the weapon. This is a consistent issue seen with all viewable Sugatra in the Arsenal with the sole exception of the Alumeti Sugatra, which is placed correctly as far as I can tell. When previewing other skins with a Sugatra equipped on Argo & Vel, it becomes even more apparent that Sugatra placement is bugged as the Sugatra will actually move down to where the handle of the previewed skin is: From left to right, all with the Thanatos Sugatra equipped: Argo & Vel → Astreos Sword & Shield → Gaforn Sword & Shield → Danaus Sword & Shield
  5. There's always at least a little bit of relevance, since some frames and weapons are explicitly locked behind OWs while a few are soft-locked behind them. (explicit locks being their parts drop from said OW and soft locks being their parts require OW materials) Cetus is still relevant if you need Revenant, Gara, Caliban, their weapons, AMPs, or Zaws Fortuna is still relevant if you need Garuda, Baruuk, Hildryn, Caliban, their weapons, AMPs, or Kitguns. Deimos is still relevant if you need Xaku, Lavos, their weapons, necramechs, or Kitguns. Then you have frames like Gauss who need materials from one or more OW, I believe Gauss needs materials from all 3 to be fully built, I know he needs at least 2 OW-only materials. There's also a few very, very good mods you can only get in OWs, like the Kavat mod from Fortuna that lets you pick up health orbs regardless of your/your pet's current HP so you can reliably use Equilibirum, or the Augur set from Cetus which is extremely useful for nduging out extra from your frames and easing shield gating. While they may not be the #1 most mandatory content to do ever, they do have benefits if you don't have the good stuff they offer.
  6. Limited availability and the insistence that regal aya has any real value and wasn't a colossal mistake is the problem I have with it. Regal aya was a mistake and shouldn't have happened, Heirloom packs quintiply so.
  7. I agree there's a lot of sunk cost that can screw players over. My Kritgun needed to be fully forma'd before it was even considerable as usable, which was pretty steep, though the end result is great. It would also be nice to have a "try before you buy" system but I think that's the case for, well, everything.
  8. I'm a colossal fan of the modular system, and my input is that it's fun. Yeah there's some obvious "best choices" but that's also ignoring the other very good choices that are just as if not more fun. Obviously there's a pretty iffy difference with some of the parts (such as loaders and links, most of them are outright trash and you are always going to either wanna pick high status or high crit which sacrifices the other slightly) but when it comes to grip/handle and chamber/head, that's where the fun stuff kicks in. Pistol kitguns are my actual favorite sidearms in the game. I love my big 3 currently, my status Rattleguts, my crit Rattleguts, and my Vermisplicer. Chamber/Head is obviously the big "this or that" option while the grip/handle usually doesn't change too, too much but it can lead to completely different feels for the same weapon and for some folks that matters a lot. There are some definite meaningful changes they could make to the modular system to make it more competitive not only within themselves but amongst non-modular weaponry but I think adding more modular stuff as an option is a good way to let us put our own bloody mitts onto our weapons the way we want to beyond just modding. Both can work together quite nicely, especially if you know what you're doing and willing to put in the effort to make the sillier weapons work. EDIT: I should also mention I have several Zaws, as well. I love love love love LOVE the modular system. My #1 issue with zaws is literally just that we don't have any more options. I want dual blades. I want sword and shield. I want to be able to make my own modular in any weapon type category!
  9. She's a decent support frame, she can heal by orb generation and project DR while also doing area lockdown, however... She is not particularly helpful where it matters most in Disruption, because Disruption is all about killing Demolitionists, everything else is only mandatory up to getting keys and otherwise literally optional. For most of Disruption, you only kill Eximus units because they have guaranteed key drops for a large portion of rounds, and can blatantly ignore everything else. (Only Demolitionists can harm the conduit in any shape or form) Her ability to generate health orbs is handy for sustain, but ultimately doesn't impact demolitionists. Her DR is nice, but not exactly reliable in all circumstances. Her crystal aura is great for shut-down but doesn't work terribly well when dealing with roving null pulses. She's not bad by any means, but like most frames she'll get her best effect by having a good weapon.
  10. All more frustrating is despite being called out on it they seem to be just ignoring it entirely. I'm not the first nor the last person to have noticed they've been straight up abandoning content over the years. It's a really, really bad look and frankly makes me worried that whenever they do make that new game (which I have heard literally nothing about since its teaser like... a year or two ago) Warframe is gonna be abandoned and neglected until it eventually just stops working. It's one thing for content to be released hella broken, it's another thing entirely for hella broken content to stay hella broken forever because it seems like they only care about new stuff. Idk. I'm just really, really hoping they stop this weird ideal because it IS actively making Warframe a drastically worse game. Playing brand new content and being able to immediately tell what bugs are just never going to be fixed is a really, really, really concerning thing and it's been a constant for a while now.
  11. I desperately wish they didn't abandon her like they do all the other content when it's no longer the big brand new thing. She has so many critical issues they're seemingly just blatantly ignoring... Much like a LOT of the content released now-a-days.
  12. If I remember right, she wasn't originally allowed to open stuff on Merulina either, but that got changed because it quite literally defeated the purpose of Merulina for the most part. Several "fixes" and an infinitely increase bug list later, we have the Yareli we know and I love today. (She's actually one of my favorites, which makes her absolutely bugginess more frustrating)
  13. Yes, I'm aware. Sorry if it was unclear, I was comparing TNW and non-SP archons to SP attrition runs, not talking specifically about SP archons. (I don't even know how people would actually go about completing that because Archons are annoying enough on regular star chart...)
  14. Archons are currently the hardest content outside of SP attrition runs. Really it boils down to the fact that they keep trying (and failing) to make content that scales appropriately with the fact you CAN makes frames or weapons so busted that you can oneshot even the hardest content, but ignoring the fact that... That is less than 5% of the total playerbase. I'd consider myself actually pretty decent, I've made a few really good builds that can stand up to SP attrition but I still struggle against Archons and struggled with TNW. Part of the problem also comes hand-in-hand with the fact that DE seems to be abandoning content as soon as it's no longer brand new, so core issues like major bugs or even just heavily needed balance changes just. Don't happen.
  15. So your solution for buffing him to compare with other frames... Is to make him so ridiculously busted that there is literally no reason to play any other frame? 40s invulnerability is excessively long, and from memory between 6-10 times longer than ANY other form of invulnerability in the game, including death. Critical builds are already extremely powerful. They do not need to be made any more powerful than they already are. ok So you want to shoot up the DPS on it by an insane amount? If you have it literally unmodded, sure, it's a barely noticeable change, but when you mod it and then apply the ridiculous scaling you get from Ability Strength to it, you are making it so there is no reason to touch any of the weapons you actually bring into the game. So you want permanent sustain on what would make your excessively overtuned version of Exalted Blade? You can just say that you hate every single other weapon in the game.
  16. Just some corrections :) And a few other things: Open Worlds (OWs) are abandoned content, the "Narmer" bandaid was just a mediocre attempt to revive abandoned content without actually doing anything meaningful to said content (Narmer enemies are literally just barely reskinned normal enemies, the missions are all the exact same as normal bounties, and the rewards aren't even different enough from other bounties that give frame and weapon parts. Only difference here is sometimes you have to load a different OW hub which is annoying at best) Umbrals are abandoned - while we will understandably probably never get an Umbral version Warframe ever again (barring a brand new one that isn't based on an existing frame) the fact that there we have never gotten more Umbra-polarity mods is a bit ridiculous. Basically everything surrounding Umbra has been forgotten. Many mission types are in heavy need of Quality of Life updates or even just variety refreshes: Spy missions seem to always use 3 of 4 possible vaults per tileset meanwhile every group seems to only have like 3 tilesets and... Almost all of them seem to share most if not all their Spy vaults. Defection missions are incredibly broken. There is an extremely high chance of getting a tileset with broken geometry that will literally force-fail you if you don't bring Loki or Nova because the defectors will get stuck permanently on the geometry and be doomed to die, ultimately either forcing extraction or mission failure, because once it starts with one defector it will start happening to every single set of defectors who go on that route. Disruption missions are extremely unfriendly to deaf or otherwise hard-of-hearing individuals (such as myself) and the beeping is extremely unreliable besides, sometimes straight up beeping in the actual wrong direction even when every single other sound in the game is correct. Inversely, in Lua Disruption sometimes the demolisher will just stop pathing for literally no reason, drastically stretching out mission completion time. Rescue missions seem to be one vault type per tileset with some overlap. Please give us some variety. And more! A handful of weapon categories are outright bad compared to most other weapons in the game Spearguns are still the biggest culprit here, as almost every single one is either outright bad or in severe need of help. For a lot of them, the Speargun rework that came with the Tenet Ferrox actually made Spearguns worse! They basically need a ground-up rework because the foundation itself is deeply flawed here. Too much content is being developed to only be abandoned soon after. This is an egregious trend that DE has been upkeeping for severral years. I get plans and ideas change as time goes on and maybe an idea is just too cool not to, or you're too worried about lack of variety in content, or whatever but... Abandoned every single concept within less than a year of introducing it is an EXTREMELY bad look. there was more but i got distracted and forgor
  17. Warframe Market is not affiliated with Warframe
  18. Can't provide my stats currently but not true - Rest can get perfect captures, proven by Nightwave and getting perfect capture tag counts.
  19. Equinox's Rest is actually the best tool for Conservation. I will swear up and down by it - you don't need direct hits, if they are close enough to where you're aiming Rest it will knock them out. Just pump up max range and duration and you're good. I run it on my Loki who I hybrid for Stealth, Hunting, and Treasure
  20. Synth Fiber, which can be obtained sometimes from Fortuna bounties, As long as the equipped pet is alive, you can infinitely pick up HP orbs. I run it on my Smeeta and even when I don't use Equilibrium it's just all around useful.
  21. If you're looking for a stat stick like a STATUS stick, you're going to want something that can be easily moddable for at least 35% status chance. (Especially if you can get there with only 1-3 status chance-affecting mods) From there it then becomes a game of speed and damage disposition, and in my honest opinion Zaw are generally a better choice because they're very versatile and some come with great attack patterns. (Notably so far in my experiences as a fan of modular weapons is one-handed reapers and polearms, two-handed heavies unfortunately aren't too hot but that's probably more due to personal taste) You'll actually get more delicious status-sticking mileage out of a high-speed, low-damage, high-status Kitgun pistol, preferably a Rattleguts for its rapidfire, then slap on the arcane that turns it into a charging weapon and you're good. I have two different kitguns I use primarily (Pavonis my stat-gun and Orion my Kritgun) and they perform their respective roles phenomenally and I'd say pistols are underrated and kitguns even more-so. If you're looking for a stat stick like a CRITICAL stat stick, that's where the field gets more competitive. You still want decent status (ideally no less than 10% base status chance) so you can get your Viral and Slash procs still, with high enough base critical rate where the Sacrificial set would get you at least to 80% critical rate idealy. if you like spamming heavy attacks, that's even easier. Gonna once again come in and sing praise to the underrated-and-left-for-death modular weapon system because you can make some phenomenal zaws that can outperform a fair amount of weapons in the game and compete healthily with most of the rest with a bit of research and practice. I'm a sucker for Sword & Shield, but my two main Zaws (Polaris the Polearm and Andromeda the One-Handed Scythe) do their jobs beautifully while I hunt down the Sword and Shield of my dreams (which unfortunately seems like it's gonna be Sigma & Octanis at this rate cos most of the others are... Either too heavily weighted in one direction and almost non-existent in the other or are just straight up bad) If it HAS to be a Genesis Incarnon, then well... Bo Prime Genesis seems like it's pretty good, downside is that imo the stances for staves are kinda bad. Ceramic Dagger Genesis seems like it could be pretty good, since it can induce Heat for limited armor strip. The other Genesis melees seem either kinda bad or at least not much better than non-Genesis.
  22. They should focus on bug fixing and making bad content better before they should set aside massive amounts of resources - AGAIN - for a new way to play the game - AGAIN - before we end up having people going - AGAIN - "hey where is this thing you promised us like two years ago?" that's still in development because they need to keep pooling their assets back together - AGAIN - to make content for everyone rather than just the small number of people who refuse to play one of the 4 other ways you can already play the game. Again. In case you're wondering, I'm referring to the fact that Warframe has been apparently in developement for mobile devices for a long while and they have very little if anything to show for it, and it's very clear that they keep having to put Mobile on ice because they need people to actually work on the game itself rather than constantly diverting their manpower to the mobile app that is still a pretty heated back-and-forth whether people think it's worth it, with most people either straight up forgetting DE said they were gonna do it or people getting more and more fed up with empty promises that's constantly falling over like dominos because they keep biting off more than they can chew. VR will not happen. Not anytime soon. And people will be rightfully extremely upset if they announce yet another "upcoming new way to play" when Mobile still isn't done, cross-play still has flaws, cross-save still isn't done, tons of old content is falling apart because it's either so old it doesn't hold up or because the content itself is straight up breaking from neglect, tons of NEW content is straight up broken because their eyes are too big for their stomachs, and myriads of other long-lasting problems such as: Several debunk chunks of gameplay made obsolete because they spent all their resources making a shiny new thing only to abandon it shortly after to make ANOTHER shiny new thing (Most notable example being the state of Umbral mods and their forma) Several frames are severely glitchy, some to the point of outright breaking several if not most mission types and variants in the game (Looking at you, Yareli!) Several frames are in such dire need of a rework that almost no one bothers playing them, and sometimes when they DO touch those frames to so-called "'rework" them, it's the wettest bandaid possible that solves the crack but not the leak (Hydroid currently sucks, Frost currently sucks, Inaros currently sucks, Atlas currently sucks, Nidus desperately needs help because he needs ridiculous amounts of work to compete with other frames and is literally anti-co-op... Etc etc.) Several abilities are either blatantly useless, outright garbage, outdated as dust, or straight up has a better version out there. (Soul Punch sucks, Thralls & Danse Macabre both need help, Hydroid's everything sucks, Atlas's everything sucks, Inaros's everything sucks, Nidus needs too much setup, Merulina needs help and Aquablades kinda suck. Radial Javelin is literally unreliable and bad, etc etc) If everyone is replacing an ability, it's not always because an ability is too overpowered (looking at you, Gloom), for a lot of frames its because the ability being replaced straight up sucks and literally anything is better. There's even tons of frames that struggle to even be able to utilize Helminth either because there is nothing that can solidly replace anything in their kit to be functional without the rest of their kit or even their resource pool (energy, shields, cooldowns, whatever) being screwed with. Several game modes are either blatantly broken (the mission type where you have to lead squads of people through an infested tileset to safety while sometimes being attacked by Red Veil... Yeah, the geometry is still broken. Yeah you still HAVE to use Loki or Nova to not trap yourself in a force-fail because the timer runs out on one guy who literally cannot get past the geometry even if he gets knocked out of it after dying) or have egregious bugs (fun fact: yareli can delete arbitration tokens!) that can heavily impact gameplay both for the player and the rest of the squad And more! (I got distracted so I lost my place lol) So yeah. If they were to announce anytime soon that they were even CONSIDERING VR Warframe, I would be pretty pissed considering... Well, just look above.
  23. I think more umbral mods would be nice, but there is almost exactly zero percent chance we'll ever see an umbral frame or even umbral weapons. Either more Umbral mods need to be made, reworked entirely, or be made less stupidly rare for something that isn't even considerable as best in slot anymore for most frames, since even just Molt Augmented alone makes Umbral Intensify not worth the metaphorical price tag lol.
